I had a wonderful stay at PeterLand. It's a very cozy property with a beautiful garden. My room was comfortable and clean. The beach is just 5mins away and it's probably the best beach in the area, almost like a little private beach for yourself. The people in the area are also very polite and lovely. Maria and Jiji made me feel at home and helped me with any enquiries, like food, bike, washing and backwaterstour. I am very happy to have found such a nice place on my journey. Definetly recommend!

Lovely property, short walk through a small village to a quiet beach. Super friendly hosts were always smiling and happy to help.They also prepared delicious south Indian food for us.

Peter and Maria were very friendly and helpful hosts. To be greeted with home-made lemonade was lovely. The breakfasts, and Maria's glasses of tea, were excellent. It was pleasant to be able to sit outside our room in comfortable chairs, looking at the garden. Information about buses and onward rail travel was very helpful. The area nearby was an interesting taste of rural Kerala.

A Truly Wonderful Experience!" From the moment I arrived, I felt like part of the family! The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The behavior and kindness of everyone were outstanding. The breakfast was delicious, offering a variety of fresh, tasty options. Everything about the stay was fantastic. Highly recommend this homestay for anyone looking for a comfortable and friendly atmosphere!

“Lovely, welcoming homestay”

Lovely homestay with the friendliest couple of owners, Peter and Mariam (and their two daughters), who instantly make you feel like part of the family. Also, delicious food every day from Mariam! Five or ten minutes walk to a very quiet beach or ten minutes bus or tuk-tuk to beach bars at Marari. The town of Alleppey for the backwaters is easily reachable too.

Mr. JIJI arranged shikara boat and auto for us..all things gud but due to bad weather I didn't enjoyed in Alleppey

Jiji and Mariamma were such wonderful hosts. They made us feel so welcome and helped us with travel plans and tours. Our breakfast and dinner 'feasts' were exceptional. I would recommend this homestay to those wanting to visit Alleppey, but without having to stay in the busyness of the city centre.
