“Pleasant stay at Kera Houseboats Alleppey 1 night in Alleppey”

The food served was of good quality. Started with a welcome drink, which was very refreshing. The fried fish for lunch was awesome. Tea snacks, Dinner were aslo excellent. Had some limited choices for breakfast.

“Lovely two day trip”

We took a two night trip with Kera and were fortunate to have no one else on our two bedroom boat for the trip. Highly recommend two nights if you can, the second morning was the best part, instead of being checked out and off the boat by 9am we had a slow breakfast and a delightfully tranquil cruise with hardly any other boats around. Food was exceptionally good and the staff were charming. Loved the extra cruise option (at a price) on a local villagers small boat down the smaller canals in the afternoon of our second day.

It was really nice!!! We were on the waters during the day and in the next morning. Good food and really friendly and helpful staff, and facilities were also good! Nice that there was an open deck at the back of the boat where you could sunbathe, I saw that other boats were more covered.

We had an excellent experience! The chef was amazing, he was friendly and he has prepared the best prawns we've ever had :) All together the staff were amazing, paid attention to all details and made sure that we had a wonderful stay!

The houseboat was great and the staff all super helpful.

We had an amazing stay on our houseboat. The care and attentiveness of the staff was excellent and the food was varied and delicious. We enjoyed the excursion in a smaller boat that was booked for us and the incredible views of the backwaters. The highlight of our trip.

My boyfriend and I stayed 2 nights on the houseboat and we really enjoyed it. We had a nice room, the cruise through the backwaters was awesome (on the 2nd day also a different route through narrow passages) and the service of the boat crew was excellent. The food was very tasty and abundant. I can highly recommend the experience on this houseboat.

We had a wonderful time - highlights included the sail in the morning and taking a small boat around the smaller backwaters (this is extra). Also every meal was delicious (and so much food)!

Lovely experience on the backwaters, canals and lake. Comfortable and clean bedroom and linen. Staff on the boat were great, professional and very courteous.

“Fun”

Great value for money. Meals were well cooked and we were well looked after by the staff. Boat was immaculately clean and it was one of the first hot showers we had in India. Boat was very comfortable. Felt like royalty. Word of warning: it seems you don’t actually see the images of the boat you’ll be on before you book – we received a WhatsApp with some photographs and then a phone call to ask if everything was going to be okay with the newly proposed boat.

Kings houseboat with luxury service. Very clean and fresh room and furniture. Ac works good and silent. Comfortable bed. Good wi fi. Very very delicious food. Helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **Exceptional Experience at Kera Boathouse** Our stay at Kera Boathouse was absolutely wonderful. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The experience was peaceful and calm, surrounded by the beautiful backwaters of Alleppey. The boat was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. The food was delicious and added so much to the overall experience. Truly a relaxing and memorable stay — highly recommended!

Shyam & Unni were great for the two days that we were with them as the cook and captain of the boat. We stayed for two nights and they made sure that we went to a new and more peaceful location on the second day when we had more time. The food was good and they even accommodated our picky children.

“Kera bliss”

Kera houseboats are run professionally. The staff are polite, attentive, and considerate. Not all backwater houseboats have great reviews, but these guys are attentive to detail. They collect sterile water for cooking and cleaning instead of other boats that collected water from larger lake. They took us deep into the backwaters, where we were the only houseboat around. They arranged for us to take a small boat into tiny village tributaries. The food and drinks were delicious. No hidden fees. A beautifully relaxing few days watching the world float by.

The whole experience exceeded my expectations. The venue and especially the staff where excellent, couldn't do enough to please.
