“Exceptional”
Exceptional in every way and the highlight of our Kerala trip. Gracious and attentive staff, beautiful facilities and stunning garden and surroundings as well as the best food we ate while away in Kerala. A place to completely relax among nature. It is in the quiet and peaceful part of the backwaters surrounded by rice paddies and village life. All tours easy to arrange by the hotel who pick you up directly from the door. Yoga in the garden was a lovely addition. Thank you to Vinod and your wonderful team who made our stay so memorable.

“Amazing stay at Emerald Isle”
Beautiful heritage property on the water, and Vijo was super helpful and welcoming. He has done an amazing job with the conversion and upkeep of the family farm. Would have loved to stay longer but we will definitely come back for a longer stay in future. Take your time to explore the garden as well as sunset cruise on the Shikara boat. Just beautiful. Very lovely staff, lovely food and generous servings. Gorgeous rooms and outdoor showers, clean, very comfortable beds. All up a very welcoming and relaxing stay. Highly recommend!!

“A little piece of "God's country" 🙂”
This is truly a unique place to stay, which met our expectations. Vijo, Sam and Tom made it a memorable stay. Extremely welcoming and super friendly, we were made to feel at home. The food is excellent and dining is a communal affair with other guests, which is great as you can share tips on your trip. The gardens are lovely, the location a little out of the way but that is why we chose this homestay. Vijo has a selection of activities you can partake in. We did a few and loved the massage and cooking lesson. If you want a truly memorable experience which is chilled with good food, choose here!

Great stay which was very clean and aesthetically pleasing. Great host who provided us with nice breakfast and dinner, as well as arranging an on-site Ayurvedic massage and shikara boat which docked right in front of the accommodation.

The location was excellent and being a small hotel with only 7 bedrooms it was more cosy and friendly. the staff were very exceptional and nothing was too much for them
