“Great place to stay and watch the action of the backwaters”

Great location with view of garden and waterways.Excellent room with all facilities needed. Great swimming pool. Staff were attentive to our needs.

Fun location in the backwaters, you can just sit outside and see the kettuvallams past by. Room was clean and looked like in the photos. Staff helped us to organize tours and a taxi to munnar. Breakfast was good.

“Wonderful, relaxing stay by the water”

The hotel is beautiful. It’s set right next to the canal - you can watch the boats go by and even relax in a hammock. The staff were really friendly and helpful, we couldn’t ask to stay in a better hotel - they even arranged a private yoga class for us. Thanks again for a beautiful stay.

The property is situated on an island and is accessible by a small boat. Our room was right by the water so we spent many hours relaxing and watching the boats go by. Staff were very attentive and amusing.

Had a great stay at the property.It’s a peaceful place overlooking backwaters just as the resort name says! Scrumptious food, impeccable service from staffs and the rooms are clean. Don’t miss to try their Vattayappam (steamed rice cake with lots of ghee roasted cashews and banana) and Fish Pollichadh !

It’s a beautiful place

The staff were incredibly helpful. The property is well laid out with a fabulous pool.

The location is kind of quirky as you need to catch a little boat across the canal, it only takes 2 mins and the guy taking you across is lovely. You need to message the resort manager to find out how/ where to catch the boat. It's peaceful listening to the birds and watching the boats going past. Our room was ok Breakfast was ok The manager was pleasant. Swimming pool was lovely and clean but no shade available (a couple of umbrellas would be a good suggestion.) With some TLC this place could be great.

Waterfront location, with a personal boat to get to and from the island. Nothing was too much for the staff to help us with. Wonderful breakfast and good selection of food in the evenings. Lovely pool in a sunny spot.

The river views were great. The guys taking across in the canoes were always pleasant.

Gorgeous backwaters location on the rear side of a canal (you have to take a short boat ride to cross over). Clean and comfortable rooms. Beautiful curated garden and lounge area. Nice pool. Fully functional kitchen and the food they served was delicious. Lakshman and other staff were very warm.

I booked for my parents and they liked everything about the stay on the island resort. Lakshman was really polite and helpful, the room was spotlessly clean, the surroundings were beautiful, and they liked the food as well.

Clean and well maintained

Absolutely a wonderful resort. It was very clean and the staffs were very accommodating as I was travelling with my young son. They were warm and welcoming. Surely coming back with my entire family
