This was truly an incredible stay! The location is so serene and the property is just beautiful. The property is set in a rolling garden with hundreds of birds and animals around. You can sit by the pool under the coconut trees sunbathing or read your book on your private pavilion. My highlight was the food for sure! You have to order your meals a few hours in advance because they buy everything to cook for you from the village. It is beautiful home cooked Keralan food at it's finest.

The property was very comfortable with a large bed and garden bathroom. The decking overlooked the beautiful gardens. The pool area was very spacious. Very quiet and relaxing.

We loved our stay here! It is so tranquil, has a gorgeous view of the lake, and the service is really wonderful - it's lovely to have meals served on the private terrace. he food was great and also quite reasonably priced, given the isolated location.

Ameya Kerala is a true hidden gem. The location is breathtaking, offering an unobstructed 180-degree view of the lake that is simply magical. It was the perfect place to unwind at the end of our holidays. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful swimming pool, which offers a great spot to relax while taking in the scenery. Because the resort is small and exclusive, the atmosphere is incredibly peaceful and private. The traditional Kerala architecture is stunning, and the rooms are very comfortable. What truly stands out, however, is the staff—they are attentive, kind, and go above and beyond to make you feel at home. It is the ideal spot for anyone seeking tranquility, luxury, and the natural beauty of the backwaters. Highly recommended

“Comfortable and relaxing.”

The property is owned by a French couple, who rent out the villas/rooms when they are not using it. The architecture of the main house is fantastic, and staying there felt like a homestay. The staff were very friendly and the food they served was delicious. The free use of the kayak was a nice touch.

“Beautiful and peaceful stay”

The place was really nice. Well kept grounds, clean and peaceful. The room exceeded my expectations. Really large with a lovely outside bathroom/shower. Also, a private verander where you could relax and eat your meals. The pool was lovely, and we made use of the kayak. The food was also really tasty. Meals are brought to your private verander. You have a choice of things at breakfast and there is a menu for dinner (pre-order). The staff were friendly and quite helpful. Taxi's were organised for us as well as private boat ride on the back-waters. Overall it was a very lovely experience and I would recommend staying here. I would be happy to stay again!

“A beautiful restful location on the lake”

A boutique property in a beautiful location on the lake, ideal for a 2 to 3 night stay or after a house boat trip. It is essentially a place for rest and relaxation but the boat trip that Anish, the manager, arranged to the Kumarakom area, was worth doing. They have bikes which we used. The staff were all very accommodating. As there are only a few local style restaurants, you are essentially obliged to order the in-house meals but they were all excellent, with locally sourced fresh produce. The memory foam mattress was a wonderful relief as we had very firm ones at other properties on our trip. We enjoyed our stay.

“LIVING IN HEAVEN”

Ameya is the most beautiful place we have seen. Our stay was really wonderful and Anish and his team were really to kind to us. The endless view overlooking the lake from our room was unbelievable. The food was to die for. We can't wait to come back again. We have really enjoyed every minute with an outstanding ambience. Every small detail of the place has given us the feeling that we came back home. Really without words.

It was such a special place!!! The photos look nice but they don’t capture the truly special atmosphere. The staff were all so kind, Anish was unbelievably helpful in booking things for us and giving us advice - he even came with the driver to welcome us at the airport! You get breakfast (lunch if you want it) and dinner delivered to your own private terraces. There’s a pool and you can kayak on the gorgeous lake. It’s such a special place and it’s the people there that really made it. I’d definitely go back!

Loved the location, the decor inside the rooms, the staff, the food. The food was excellent - home made and delicious and was catered to an extent to your needs. The staff - Anish, Bala, Sudha, Asha, Rashmi made me feel like I have come home. Thank you for creating such a beautiful space in the world.

Excellent from start to finish! Anish and the rest of the team were flawless and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable! Helpfull and friendly staff

We had a wonderfully relaxing two-night stay. The property is beautiful and exceptionally well maintained. Our garden-view cottage was delightful; we especially loved the décor—particularly the bathroom. The food was excellent, both in flavour and presentation, and we really appreciated being able to dine on our own private veranda. The staff were consistently warm and attentive throughout our stay.
