Looking back over my years of travelling and staying in many places...this was one of my favourite places of all. I cannot fault it in any way. We had the warmest welcome from the owners and indeed savoured every minute of our visit. A wonferful French villa with an excellent breakfast and a room that was spotless in every way. This place is a little gem. Well worth visiting. This will be on our list for future trips.

I spent ten delightful days at this property and found much to appreciate. Pauline and Bob proved to be attentive and genuinely pleasant hosts who contributed significantly to the quality of my stay. The location strikes an ideal balance—positioned just a few kilometers from essential shops and services yet nestled alongside a river in a charming village that offers both convenience and tranquility. The interior decoration deserves particular mention, as it creates a wonderful atmosphere that enhances the overall experience of the property.

We stayed for a wedding in the area it was perfect! Pauline could not have been more friendly, welcoming or accommodating. The decor was lovely - our room was huge - continental breakfast was delicious, and Pauline suggested some great things to do in the area, including a visit to the lovely village of Aubeterre. Would highly recommend!

“A fantastic stay in a beautiful property”

The property was beautiful, so well kept and lots of beautiful decor. The room we had had so much character it was lovely. The beds were very comfortable and the room and house itself were spotless. The location was perfect for us as we were in the area for a wedding. The breakfast each morning was just amazing, so much choice and set us and the couple we were travelling with up for the day. Pauline was an absolutely fantastic host, so kind, friendly and helpful, and went out of her way to make us feel welcome and answer any questions we had. Pauline was welcoming and friendly. The bedroom and bathroom were beautiful and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent - fresh fruit salad, cold meat, cheeses, bread and croissants and home made jams plus more.

“Amazing place”

Everthing was just amazing! This place is a gem! - The place is very easy to find. - the bedroom is beautiful and clean and the bed is comfortable. - the breakfast was delicious - the owner is so kind and ready to help - It's very easy to park the car - The area is lovely and very relaxing! - We also loved a lot the owner's dog ❤️ We only stayed for 1 night because we had a wedding but we would definitely come back to stay longer!

It feels like a home where we were house guests rather than PGs. Pauline and Bob are very welcoming and accommodating. I am told by my good lady that one very practical matter was very well catered for, dressing mirrors. Pauline and Bob have clearly invested much time and thought in the decor.

It‘s a charmingly calm place, with a very French atmosphere. We found it extremely comfortable and relaxing. The breakfast was better than in many star hotels made by carrying hands of the host lady. The hosts are most welcoming and helpful with advices about the region and food places. We dream to come back one day!
