Overview
Just 4 km outside Alleghe, Caprile's Hotel Alla Posta is a 19th-century post house listed in Italy's historic places. The hotel features a traditional restaurant, and an indoor pool, Turkish bath and hot tub. Part of the Dolomiti Superski area, the hotel is 10 km from the Marmolada ski slopes and has a free winter bus to the Civetta ski slopes, only 4 km away. Guests can fish in the Cordevole River 50 metres away and Lake Alleghe 4 km away. Rooms at Hotel Alla Posta have a classic design and carpeted floors. Each one has a minibar and a TV. This team is amazing – we absolutely loved our stay, even though it was just for one night. Everything was really nice and perfectly organized. The accommodation was excellent, located in their charming little town near the Alps. My girlfriend and I stayed only one night, but it was more than enough to see how much care and attention they put into every detail. We are truly more than satisfied and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Definitely a 10/10 experience.

The personnel were helpful and friendly. The breakfast and evening dinners were tasty, with a good variety to choose from. The restaurant staff were professional and always smiling. The wellness area was very nice, with a clean swimming pool and saunas. There are also two large parking areas with sufficient capacity; however, they are located about 200–300 meters from the hotel. Last but not least, the communication with the hotel via the Booking.com chat was efficient. Note: Although the hotel is rated 4 stars, the interior design is a bit outdated — which doesn’t mean it’s bad, just somewhat old-fashioned.

We absolutely loved our stay here. We were lucky to have a fully renovated room, which was an incredible surprise – everything was taken care of down to the smallest detail. Honestly, one of the best rooms we’ve ever stayed in. There is plenty of parking, as well as a pool and two restaurants on site, which is very convenient if you don’t feel like going out.

Our room despite of the reservation was not in the hotel, but on the opposite site of the street. The apartment was suitable. The hotel services (wellness, own confectionery, cuisine) make this place a very confortable rest place.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the exceptional service, especially thanks to the receptionist Daniel. Despite arriving soaked from a terrible downpour, Daniel was incredibly kind and went out of his way to help us. He arranged an early check-in for us without any hassle, which made a huge difference and immediately made us feel welcomed and cared for. The wellness area here is simply amazing. It’s a perfect place to relax and unwind (2 saunas, pool and a jacuzzi), and we truly appreciated that it opened earlier due to the bad weather, allowing us to enjoy it even more. The atmosphere was peaceful, and every detail was thoughtfully arranged. We were also delighted by the little extras — they provided us with water right away in the wellness area, which was very refreshing after our wet journey. Breakfast was outstanding, classic Italian style with a great variety of fresh pastries, delicious marmalades, coffee. It was the perfect start to our day! Thank you, we will be coming back!
