Such lovely people. Location was ideal for us, visiting friends in the village, safe and secure, tidy spacious room with disabled access ensuite. Fantastic views, quiet and peaceful.

Willowcroft is a homely, welcoming set up. Sue was very accommodating despite my running late, and the room and en suite were presented to a high standard, in-keeping with the countryside aesthetic of the property and grounds. I wish I'd had time to explore the surrounding countryside as the welcome leaflet advised but regrettably it was a fleeting stay. Breakfast was well presented and great value for money, just what I needed when I had a busy day ahead.

It is a very quiet location. We arrived on a foggy evening in the dark and had a bit of difficulty finding where we were staying but it was all sorted out OK. It was a very warm and comfortable stay.

We diddnt like the fact it was in someones house we couldn't relax felt like we was intruding we did not know it was in someones home when we booked it does not say on booking.com

The room was clean and cosy, the bed was comfortable, the shower in the ensuite with its grab handle to give confidence to the less secure of us and the little fridge to keep fresh milk cold (which we were advised to turn off overnight because of its noise) all gave to the lovely welcome provided by our hostess the confirmation that we had found an idyllic bolthole for the night. No noisy traffic overnight, no streetlights leaking light through the curtains, the night was so peaceful, we slept really well. And then breakfast - the breakfast hamper was ready for us on the dining table outside our room in the morning at the time agreed. Full of easy to prepare goodies that we could sort for ourselves with the kettle from our room to make a brew and make up the porridge. We ate the porridge and drank the juice and a cuppa and because we were needing to get on the road, the fruit, croissants, muesli bars and muffins kept us going for the rest of the day. Beautiful location ,lot’s of places for walks and to see wildlife. Nice clean room with a view with a comfortable bed , nice shower Tim was very friendly and made us feel welcome.

What a lovely place to stay. Friendly host, beautiful setting, great facilities, very comfortable bed and delightful breakfast. Definitely want to return.

Beautiful location, clean and spacious room, delicious breakfast and a friendly host. Importantly for me the property was also cyclist friendly. The breakfast was continental style and both delicious and nutritious.

The location was lovely - very quiet & calming. A nice comfortable stay. Breakfast although continental was a very reasonable choice.

Sue gave us a warm welcome and was an excellent hots. The quite, location was perfect. The room and bathroom were very clean. The bed was very comfortable and we had a restful sleep. The coffee facilities in the room and the continental breakfast were excellent.
