Overview
Set within lush gardens, the family-run Grapevines Hotel is located in Alikanas, only 200 metres from Alykes Beach. It offers an outdoor pool with sun-lounger terrace and a pool for children. The air-conditioned rooms open to balconies overlooking the pool and lush surroundings with the exception of the Family room in which the air conditioning is only in the bedroom. Each can accommodate 2 to 3 persons, and includes a TV and a kitchenette with kettle and fridge. Snacks and refreshments can be enjoyed on the poolside. An air-conditioned lounge with TV is also available. Relaxing seating areas and BBQ facilities are featured in the hotel gardens. Zakynthos Town is 14 km from the Grapevines. The island’s international airport is 16 km away. The hotel also offers free private parking.

The Manager and staff was friendly. The location is convenient to town on foot or by car. The accommodation was basic but it is fine for what we paid for.

“Mostly enjoyable”
Room very good, clean and bright. Comfortable bed. The cleaner came regularly and towels were changed on a regular basis. The pool and beds were good and what meals we had were tasty and good value. Near to the resort centre and lovely beach.

“An hidden gem with exceptional staff”
We have just returned from a 7 night stay here and cannot fault it at all. The rooms were spotless, the owner is so lovely and accommodating and our room was both modern and well kept. We had fresh towels each day and were well looked after during breakfast. My partner has an allergy to dairy and they were so accommodating and made sure he didn’t miss out. We will definitely be returning and recommending this beautiful hotel to our friends.

Ideal location - quiet with easy walk to the beach and restaurants. Fab swimming pool. Stayed in the new block which was lovely. Cleaned daily with fresh towels, hairdryer, fridge, kettle & safe. Bring own towels for the pool. Very welcoming.

“Fabulous accommodation!! Fabulous hotel and fabulous staff”
We stayed in the duplex apartment. Spacious apartment. Very modern. Very clean. WiFi and tv if needed. Beautiful apartment great views, comfortable beds 2 bathrooms perfect for adults and teenage kids to have their own. Really recommend the hotel, staff very lovely and very helpful, food at the hotel was vey nice too. All good prices. Pool area was nice lots of shade for all. Big car park if you’re renting a car. Highly recommend.

Comfortable room in a new building, beautiful views of the vineyard, daily cleaning. All new fixtures, mosquito nets, air conditioning. Big and clean pool, really hospitable staff. Delicious breakfast!

“Great stay, lovely family holiday”
Friendly staff, very clean and modern rooms, great location, just a little walk into town and to the beach so away from too much noise at nighttime.
