“IBIS Budget, necessity only”
The room was functional - period. What was good was the staff attitude when I complained about the noise from the toilet which went on all periodically throughout the night. Although the hotel was full that evening I was assured that next morning I would be moved to the main hotel at no extra cost. The staff were brilliant, in particular Adrian who made all the arrangements the next day and arranged the room move as his colleague had promised (sorry I don't know the colleagues name but he had very tattooed arms and was good to deal with too). I come from the hotel trade and clearly room 101 is a last let room.

The location of the hotel was excellent. There was a bus stop right outside, and Alicante was very easy to reach. However, for two people, I would actually recommend taking a taxi, as the cost is very similar to the bus and much more convenient. The room was small but comfortable. The blinds worked perfectly, and the beds and bedding were very clean. We also enjoyed the breakfast, which was tasty and a pleasant start to the day.

The location is a bit off, but during the day it has good connection, and in the night there is an option to take an airport bus, which is a bit expensive for what it is, but not critical. Overall the hotel is nice, you can leave your luggage there and all the basics are covered

The main positive was the proximity to Alicante airport, which was convenient for an overnight stay before onward travel.
