“Authentic Agriturismo Experience in Sicily”

Our stay at this agriturismo was truly a wonderful experience. The rooms were cozy, warm, and beautifully decorated, with great attention to detail that created a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. The food was excellent – breakfast was generous and varied, while dinner was outstanding, abundant, and prepared with high-quality local ingredients. The hosts were exceptionally kind and always available for anything we needed. Altogether, it was a perfect getaway with authentic homemade cuisine in Sicily – an experience we would gladly return to.

Villa Dafne was just what we were looking for, with a rural location but within a couple of hours drive of most of the main tourist spots with much to see on the way. The country side around was a pleasure to walk in and the nearby town of Alia was entrancing and the people relaxed and friendly. The food is fantastic, from the breakfast buffet to dinner.

Villa Dafne had a vibe that we LOVED! The restaurant was amazing, we dined each night of our stay and it was farm to table, food and wine all fabulous! The room cosy with all you could need. The pool and view are luxurious. Would 100% recommended and return! Remote location but close enough for day trips to some major tourist sites, we visited Cefalù and Agrigento from here.

“Genuinely an agritourism hotel.”

It's genuinely an agritourism hotel. It's a little off the beaten path, but you can breathe in the tranquillity. The food at the restaurant is excellent. They are self-providers because they have a prominent farmer with high-quality products. The entire staff is very friendly! It's worth a visit again! A visit to the farm is a must; the owner explains the dairy and cheese-making process very well.

“Nice grounds but too noisy and we wouldn’t stay here again”

I would never stay here again. The staff are lovely but this holiday was booked so we could relax and I chose it because of the remote location. Monday to Friday it’s relatively peaceful although the rooms are not designed well and you hear everything which disturbed our sleep, but Friday to Sunday it seems every selfish, overly loud, Sicilian version of trailer park trash visits the area and stays at Villa Dafne! The pool area becomes like a cheap water park with people shouting loudly across to each other (normal volume of conversation is very difficult for these guests apparently!) kids running around screaming and crying whilst the parents sit and do nothing except smoke cigarettes and put them out in the surrounding soil & flowers. We moved once because of the stomping and banging from the room above and then in the next room it was even worse. People scraping chairs on their balconies and banging the wooden doors to their terraces (instead of lifting the chairs or closing the doors quietly late at night and early morning!) We were stuck between three Sicilian families whose kids were literally standing outside opening then banging wooden terrace doors, each family screaming over to each other rather than go to the room and speak normally, they seemed oblivious to the fact I was sat outside trying to read my book and at past midnight that other guests wanted to sleep! I complained to the reception girl who claimed she would talk to them and ensure when they returned after dinner & their night out that they’d be more respectful. Of course that didn’t happen and they returned at 11.30pm and all sat outside their room scraping chairs, talking loudly and laughing with zero respect. The hotel doesn’t look after international guests like me who had paid a lot for a ten day stay, they care more about their local guests paying for one or two nights only. The food is nice but portions are too big & a waste, also the menu gets boring after a few nights!

Beatifull place situated in the countryside with great views, lovely huge pool, even a tennis court, great friendly staff, excellent food big portions for the hungry, even a lemonchello on the house. Will be back for sure.

Everything was perfect. Breakfast and dinner - tasty. Room - rustic and cozy. Staff very nice and helpful. Location - the most beautiful views we saw in Sicily.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Villa Dafne and really enjoyed the friendly and helpful people there. The breakfast was good and we really loved the dinners we had. Fresh ingredients from their own farm and from local suppliers. Villa Dafne is right in the middle of it all with a whole bunch of historical, cultural, gastronomical and touristic spots to be reached in a good hour by car. Quiet and a wonderful setting with a lot of places to sit and enjoy the beautiful Sicilian landscape. We definitely will return!
