We had an absolutely fantastic stay at El Amparo – truly a little slice of paradise! From the moment we arrived, we were given such a warm welcome, including a lovely tour of the property. We were even upgraded to a larger room, which was a wonderful surprise. The accommodation is elegant, with beautiful, spacious rooms designed for comfort and relaxation. The setting is simply breathtaking, surrounded by endless olive groves, with incredible views, total privacy and peaceful silence – perfect if you want to completely disconnect and reset. A special highlight was the food – absolutely amazing, prepared by the resident chef. There’s nothing better than enjoying a delicious dinner outside while taking in the stunning scenery. Everything was just perfect – the pool, the views, the atmosphere and the incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. We couldn’t recommend El Amparo more highly!

Our stay at El Amparo was amazing, we highly recommend it and can’t wait to come back. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast each morning was delicious, made with fresh local ingredients. We also booked the chef’s dinner, which was incredible, definitely worth doing! The location is stunning, with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and beautifully styled, and there are plenty of lovely spaces around the property to relax in. The pool area is gorgeous too. It’s about a 40-minute drive from Granada, with a few smaller towns nearby offering tapas bars and supermarkets. A perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding areas.

“Very peaceful place”

A very nice place with a beautiful view over the valley. Rooms are very well equipped with cooling but no noisy airco. We also enjoyed dinner in the evening on the terrasse and with an amazing view. Breakfast is also very good.

Want to disconnect from the world? I can’t think of many better places than el Amparo. The wonderful team of Jodie, Nick, Stewart, Jo & Delia were so welcoming and provided lovely, warm hospitality throughout our 3 day stay. But not intrusively as we had the most peaceful and serene time in this stunning location The rolling hills, glistening pool and comfy facilities including squashy beds round the pool , Luxury showers and paired back Andalusian furnishings in the gorgeous rooms added to our stay. highlights include Stewart’s cooking, and the twice daily herd of goats passing by. We will be back again. !

Everything was just perfect. The view, the pool, the silence, the privacy. The dinner was fabulous and the starts at night was magic!

“A beautiful enclave in the Spanish hills for some luxury R&R”

We had an amazing time staying at El Amparo for a long weekend during a friends wedding in a nearby town. As soon as we (myself, my husband and our friend) arrived Jodie gave us a really warm welcome. The place is stunning, situated in rolling olive groves, spotlessly clean and in beautiful condition. Each room is unique, very spacious and has all that you need (including lots of hangers!) and aircon etc. The pool is fabulous and very peaceful. The in house chef Stuart created wonderful breakfasts using local ingredients (homemade lemon cake and marmalade!) and also can arrange a courtyard dinner for guests, which we did which was multi course fine dining style and wonderful. All in all our trip hugely exceeded expectations and we will certainly be back. Thank you so much Jodie and team!

Free parking, nice views, reasonable breakfast, good size room. I think this would be a lovely place to visit in the heat of summer as there is a nice pool, great views and because you're in the mountains it's cooler. We went just before it was going to shut for the season when it was colder and it wasn't a great experience.

The owners were so friendly. It made us feel at home straight away and shared great informations about the area. The cook was super nice guy and accommodated us with custom vegetarian dishes just for us. The view was breathtaking. We'll be back for sure !

Jody the owner is very friendly and ensures you have a great stay. The room was gorgeous and the pool is amazing. Everything so clean. And no expense spared, everything was top quality from the bed linen, the furniture, and from the ingredients for breakfast and dinner to the beds around the pool. It was a real treat, thank you. We will defo return in the near future.
