We travelled by motorbike through stunning countryside. Our hosts were fabulous and made us very welcome. We were given a room upgrade and we were delighted. Our hosts also run the adjoining pizza restaurant. The pizza was the best I’ve eaten and it was brought to us in the hotel breakfast room. I would highly recommend and would happily stay here again and again.

Mirta gave us coffee and cake when we arrived. There were windows on 3 sides, so we got good view of the carnival.

“Nice place to stay visiting Alhama de Granada”

A warm welcome and shown up to our room on the 3rd floor in this centre of this inland spanish town. As the name escalera suggests the stairs lead up to the rooms and there is street parking to the side of the hotel which sits a fork in the road. The excellent break is taken on the groud floor where there is coffee, tea etc. provided for guests. There is no restaurant as such but there is excellent Italian food from the Escalera Pizza takeaway below the hotel, highly recommended.

Everything was super nice! It’s cute, recently renovated with taste, very central, extremely clean and comfy, and Mirta the hostess has been super pleasant and welcoming… I feel grateful and highly recommend!

The nicest accommodation in the whole stay in Spain. Beautiful, cozy, clean and very nice. The duvets and pillowcases smelled soft, felt like home. It was even possible to heat. The golden point at the end was the breakfast prepared by the owner with love and care. Too bad we could not stay longer, this accommodation was prepared with love and care. Thank you very much for that..

We stayed at Alojamiento La Escalera during our bicycle trip, and it was a fantastic experience. After a long day of riding, arriving at the hotel was such a pleasure. The warm welcome we received was truly special—the Argentinian host was incredibly kind and even helped us securely park our bikes in the cellar, giving us peace of mind. The rooms are beautifully decorated, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The shower was absolutely amazing, and the homemade breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Highly recommend this lovely place for a restful and enjoyable stay!
