“Beautiful and peaceful retreat close to Alghero.”

Room was clean and spacious with a comfy bed and nice bathroom with a lovely shower. The highlight was the large terrace with sea views and lots of sun. I loved having my morning coffee on the terrace from the room's coffee machine and then reading in the sun. You also get beautiful sunset views over the sea in summer time. Bliss. The gardens and pool were immaculate and peaceful to relax in, and since there are only 3 rooms you are likely to have the space to yourself. Alghero old town is a 20 minute walk or a 10 EUR taxi which was perfect for us. There is also a vineyard 15 mins drive away which is a good visit. Plenty of beaches within easy reach by car. Finally the hosts were wonderful, super friendly and made us feel right at home. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Monica and Grazielle run the beautifull villa with great passion. They are very friendly and make sure everything is perfectly. The garden with the swimmingpool and beautifull olivettrees and mediteraine plants is amazing.

From the first second we felt right at home with the two lovely sisters welcoming us and showing us around. They are the sweetest people ever and always made sure we had everything we needed and more. The place itself was squeaky clean and very well equipped, we even had a fridge to ourselves and many nice spots to consume some snacks, play games, talk or just enjoy the views. The pool was amazing as well. We slept like babies every night in the super comfortable big bed at a perfect temperature. The bathroom was perfect, too, with a nice shower and good lighting. You can tell that so much work and love is put into the villa. The breakfast that you can book additionally as well was very good and, too, and Monica and Graziella arranged it very individually fitted for us as vegans. They really went the extra mile. We will definitely be back one day and it was hard to leave!

A very nice Villa to stay. The surroundings of Villa Marianna are absolutely beautiful! It is a very very nice and big garden with lots of beautiful olive trees and a so wonderful pool and relaxing area. It is quite place and still very close to Alghero old town. It is only a short drive. To far for just walking and also due to the street having no separate side walk. The hosts Monica and Graziella are very very kind and provide every information you may need. We also had the great pleasure to get to know and to talk to the mother Marianna giving the name to this lovely Villa. When choosing the beautiful penthouse on top of the building you have a wonderful sea view. We enjoyed it here very very much and Alghero is the most nice city of Sardinia for us.

The wonderful two sisters Monica and Graziella. Such kind warm people who made us feel very comfortable. Beautiful cleans rooms (highly recommend the terrace room!), gorgeous property and pool. Amazing generous breakfast sitting by the pool in the morning. So quiet, relaxing and can’t recommend enough. We unfortunately didn’t have a car but as the property is only 2kms from the town we took taxis which we found to be easy (€12-15 each way). Thankyou Monica and Graziella for your wonderful hospitality. Bellisima !!

“A marvelous stay in a splendid and perfect place !”

We loved everything ! The welcoming (l'accoglienza), the property with olives and large spaces, the swimming pool just perfect and magic in the night with its lights, the flat and its terrace, the intimacy, the fact that there are only three rooms which means real calm and serenity, the view multiple (sea, mountains, garden), the breakfast and, las but not least the warm personality of the two owners, two sisters that I called '' les sorelle del paradiso " because this Villa Marianna is a paradise in a land, Sardinia, which is one of the most beautiful and interesting part of the Universe. If you see this property available on Booking, don't hesitate one second ! Book it !

Easy to find location away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Tranquil surroundings we had the upper apartment with sun deck. Great value. The sisters were terrific from arriving at the front gate to the moment we departed they looked after our every need I would thoroughly recommend this stay.

The location was outside the main town, nicely tucked away behind an electric gate and in a beautiful garden. The staff were incredibly attentive and it was lovely to have a bottle of sparkling wine and water in the fridge awaiting my arrival. Very quiet and secluded place to stay within easy distance of the twon centre.

“You won’t want to leave”

From the time Monica and Graciella greet you at the gate everything is perfect. They cannot do enough to make your stay as ideal as possible. Our room up the steps was wonderful, spacious, beautifully decorated with every facility you might need. The pool and surroundings are stunning and spotlessly clean as is the rest of the property. It is lovely and quiet yet only 5 to 10 minutes by car from the shops and restaurants of Algherro. You won’t want to leave.

There could not be better hosts. They were friendly, generous and very helpful. The grounds of the villa are beautiful with mature olive trees, lemon trees and a lovely swimming pool.

Villa Marianna has a great pool area and impressive gardens comprised of olive trees, statues and a water well. Really picturesque. Monica and Graziella are wonderful hosts who are always around to help out. Our room was comfy and equipped with everything you need. If you prefer to be a bit out of the hustle and bustle with plenty space and a scenic pool area, and do not mind a quick 5 min drive or 30 minute walk to the old town (although be mindful the roads dont have pavements), then I would recommend this place!

We were lucky enough to spend a few days at Villa Marianna in Alghero – and it was absolutely fantastic! The property is not only beautifully located but also decorated with incredible attention to detail. Everything was spotlessly clean, tastefully furnished, and equipped with everything you could possibly need – from a fully equipped kitchen to cozy bedrooms and a stunning outdoor area. We were especially impressed by the garden and the private pool – a true oasis of peace and relaxation. In the morning, we enjoyed our breakfast on the terrace with a view of the greenery, and in the evening, we watched the sunset with a glass of wine. The hosts were warm, attentive, and always available. They gave us great tips on restaurants, beaches, and excursions in the area. You can tell right away: hospitality is their top priority! The villa’s location is ideal – peaceful, yet close enough to Alghero to reach the old town, the harbor, and beautiful beaches within minutes. We would return in a heartbeat and can wholeheartedly recommend Villa Marianna – perfect for couples, families, or groups looking for an unforgettable stay in Sardinia.

Amazing welcome by Graziella & Monica! The garden and pool are gorgeous! Easy location to drive to all the stunning beaches in the region and 2min away from Alghero downtown. We rented the room on the 1st floor with a huge terrace with sea view, silence, and amazing sunsets! Attention to detail, warm welcome by the sisters with plenty of tips and explanations on where to go and what to do! Highly recommended.

Everything was perfect, the hostesses were amazing, we highly recommend the place, we just wish we could’ve staid longer :)
