“Will return here for our next trip to Iceland, Incredible house & location.”
Coast in front of the property, coast behind, amazing views. Lovely clean house, well stocked kitchen, and an absolutely incredible film collection for the evenings if you want a movie. Lovely to have chickens running around the back in the morning too. Dark in the evenings, making it perfect to view the northern lights as well. Great location, as only a 15 min drive from Reykjavík. Would recommend booking if you have a hire car.

Great warm hospitality, Anna and Gulli took care of everything we needed during our stay. The house is well equipped, tidy, spaced, and has an amazing view. We definitely recommend it!!

“The best place to stay in Reykjavik”
Amazing house in an amazing location! Just outside, but still very close to Reykjavik center. The house had all the amenities and more than we expected. The hot tub in the backyard was perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. Definitely coming back for to this amazing country and would love to stay at this place again! Highly recommended!

Great location, very quite and beautiful place, next no the city and with good accessibility. The house has everything you need, the kitchen is well equipped Netflix was a good surprise.

“A house in a stunning location close to Reykjavik”
It was a clear, sunny day as we arrived so we could see the see the sea and the mountains both ways. The hot tub outside had a great view. Kitchen was well equipped and the house felt roomy for 3. The owner was kind. Wi-Fi was great. We also enjoyed the picture books about Iceland. There are some games as well.

“Wonderful in every way”
We loved the location, the fantastic panoramic view, the great facilities and the extremely friendly hosts. The leisure of a calming isolated island-experience with only a 5 minute drive to Reykjavík was the perfect combination for us. Soaking in the hot-tub, watching the ships roll in, breathing in the seaweed-scented ocean breeze was a transforming experience. We would love to go there again and stay way longer. Can't recommend it enough.

“amazing property in a stunning location”
we initially booked it for four people but our friends pulled out last minute. we were considering cancelling and booking a hotel and we were so glad we didn’t! The property is in an amazing location outside of Reykjavik, with stunning views around the property, offering peace and quiet. Also great spot for northern lights so you don’t have to drive around in the middle of the night. it’s all happening just outside the property! The facilities are great, there’s everything that you need being away from home. The owners are very nice and helpful. We stayed there over Xmas and they put decorations around the house to make it more Christmassy. Also being able to sit in a hot tub when it’s snowing was amazing. it’s also great for bird and seals watching. I really cannot recommend it enough!
