“Walking, bats and stars”

We were travelling on foot for a walking holiday so the easy access to walking routes was key. The balcony in the evening and into the night- it was enjoyable to be out there in the cool watching bats flitting, stars twinkling and distant lightning flashes illuminate the horizon.

This was an ideal location for us to visit family and Alfriston is a lovely village. The property had everything we needed for a short stay and was clean and comfortable. The hosts were friendly and helpful and the welcome gifts were much appreciated.

Everything was as advertised in a beautiful location. Perfect for overseas visitors who wanted to see a bit of the natural world. The hosts were extremely patient when we muddled directions.

Very well located, you can access The amazing plough and Harrow pub by foot. The hosts were really welcoming, and it has a nice kitchen and outside area.

The place was spotlessly clean with a newly fitted kitchen ,modern fittings in the bathroom and comfortable beds and settee. Great location for the places we wanted to visit. Useful outdoor area for sitting and spotting bats of an evening.
