Relaxed atmosphere with a wide range of accommodation options. We stayed in one of the luxury rooms with our dogs. The fenced off area and seats were a brilliant use of space and next to disabled parking bays so my husband could load and unload via the additional patio doors and the actual front door had useful sliding communication notices for room serving. Bathroom was also a good size with useful hooks for towels etc on the door. The bar and restaurant served amazing food and we ate there both nights with friends. Breakfast was good but only served on a weekend. However, our friends lived on the same road and we ate with them. Fridge provided as well which was useful. The allocated dog area was actually a fenced off grassed area with some agility equipment and they loved the freedom to have some exercise. There was also a bin dedicated for their waste and spare poo bags which is helpful. Lots of dogs and all having their best time ever and plenty of space between tables and hardly any noise between them all which we appreciated as our older dog is protective of our younger one.

Great location, lovely room and bonus patio to enjoy the sun. Beautiful and well kept site. Great food in the pub in the Stables bar. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

“Peaceful break”
The lodge was beautiful and very spacious. The grounds were well kept and the dog area was such a perfect addition. It was wonderful and peaceful, everything we hoped for our stay. Definitely will be returning!

Everything. Gprgeous setting. With lovely views. Of fields chickens roaming freely. Our room was lovely. All mod cons n little touches. The food was very tasty we had the lamb shank. Big portions. Overall a very relaxing experience

The room was lovely and spacious, and the bathroom had a modern, luxurious feel too. The extra little amenities, like the mini fridge was also very handy to have. The hot tub was definitely the best part of the room.

“Decent. Not sure if we would come again. If it was just based on the accommodation we got then sure.”
It was very beautiful, peaceful. The hot tubs were amazing. We found a spider in one of the beds thank god our 7 month old daughter was not in that bed! They’re very particular with their rules, make sure you read ALL of them.
