Luxury hotel Dating back to the early 20th century, this historic hotel is right on Alexandria’s waterfront where breakfast can be enjoyed on the rooftop terrace with panoramic Corniche views. The elegant rooms of Windsor Palace Hotel offer hand-decorated high ceilings. All rooms are fully renovated with all new technology (flat screen TV, private satellite TV in each room with about one thousand channels, free Wi-Fi) Light snacks and refreshments can be enjoyed in the open-air Prince Charles Café with sea views. Decorated with antiques and frescos, the Queen Elizabeth Hall offers fine dining and wine. You can enjoy la carte cuisine at Blue Harbor café & restaurant, and spend unforgettable DJ nights at Skyroof Club Lounge. Guests will be ideally in the social and cultural hub of the city. There are several street cafés, shopping boutiques, and seaside promenades nearby. Alexandria Library is one kilometer away. Kindly note that this property does not have a swimming pool or a private beach, but guests have access to the swimming pool and private beach (with a charge) at Paradise Inn Beach Resort, which is a different property in the same hotel group. The 24-hour front desk can arrange car rentals, dry cleaning services and recommend attractions and restaurants in the surroundings. The hotel is situated a 2-minute walk from the El Raml Train Station and the sandy beaches. The library of Alexandria is 1.5 km away. The property is located 1 km from Constantine Cavafy.

“Perfectly located heritage landmark with excellent service”
Perfect location, with direct sea views and a lovely balcony. The hotel itself is a heritage landmark, beautifully renovated and very convenient for a relaxing stay. It is also close to downtown Alexandria (Mahattet Al Raml), with its charming cafés and beautifully restored historic streets. The service is excellent, and the staff are professional, friendly, and helpful. I would especially like to mention Rahma from housekeeping for her exceptional care and attention. The concierge, restaurant team, reception and customer care staff were all outstanding. I would definitely love to stay at Windsor Palace again.

The one real positive is the breakfast buffet view, which is stunning. That's a genuine advantage. The other hotel I mentioned has a restaurant, but not on this view, and here the buffet looks right out onto it.
