Beautiful location quiet and Sue and Paul were lovely hosts. Accommodated our slightly later arrival for a wine tasting and tour. Room is spacious well equipped. Even has robes. We only stayed a night but well worth it.

Fantastic location and beautiful views. Our room was perfect with very fine linens and super comfortable bed. Our hosts had thought of every detail to make it a special place to stay. We enjoyed our tour of the vineyard, wine tasting and delicious dinner with Sue and Paul, who were great company. Thank you!

The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The free wine tasting was lovely, I learnt a lot. The accommodation was very spacious with two large bedrooms, sitting room and laundry. The winery is a short drive to Alexander or Clyde and in a peaceful setting. We could walk about the property and there was lovely seating outside. The continental breakfast was lovely with some options homemade. We really enjoyed our stay.

This was my second time visiting New Zealand, and by chance, I decided to dive deeper into its wine culture — which led me to Alexandra. What a wonderful surprise! This stay turned out to be the highlight of my entire trip — peaceful, private, and deeply relaxing. Paul and Sue were the most amazing hosts. From the wine tasting to the outdoor tour and our delightful dinner together, every moment felt warm, fulfilling, and full of joy. It was such a pleasure meeting them! The accommodation was simply perfect — spotless, comfortable, and beautifully set up. I honestly couldn’t find a single thing to fault. I’ll definitely return the next time I’m in New Zealand, and I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone who wants to slow down, unwind, and experience what true travel feels like.

Breakfast was lovely

Just about everything. It was a superb experience. We especially enjoyed the wine tasting and the tour of the vineyard. We learnt a lot about wine and vineyard management.

We had a lovely two bedroom maisonette just off of the main house. Sue and Paul were delightful hosts. We had a tour of the vineyard and a tasting. The grounds were immaculate and we were made to feel very welcome. There was a great bathtub with bubble bath and a candle. Heaven!

“A very special and unique stay”

This property is absolutely beautiful, and the hosts are really lovely people. We were pleasantly surprised to find we were the only guests which made it feel unique. We were offered a tour of the vineyard and complimentary wine tasting - both of which were very enjoyable. We also opted to have dinner with the hosts - I have a couple of dietary requirements and Sue was able to easily accommodate me. Overall a fantastic first experience staying at a vineyard - Thank you Sue and Paul!
