Great apartment in city centre of Alesund. Spacious room, clean bathroom, well equiped kitchen, nice common area. Perfect location - just few minutes to all important places, close to restaurants, bars, shops etc. Very welcoming and helpful owner, explained us everything after our arrival with some recommendations. We saw the good reviews before, but the place was even better.

The friendly, welcoming host and the location in the centre....near to Tourist Information and a supermarket. I liked having my own fridge in my room and the kitchen had everything I needed, if I'd wanted to prepare my own food.

Our room was very spacious. We had been a little bit wary as the property is a place where several rooms share a bathroom and kitchen. However, we needn't have been. Rolf organises everything brilliantly, so things are always clean, there's loads of space where people can share or be alone as they like. Highly recommended!

The location was excellent. Rooms and toilet were clean. Bed was comfortable. Rolf is a nice and friendly host. I definitely recommend this place.

We can leave our luggage in the public space because our bus was at 10:00 PM on the check-out day. Anyway let us feel comfortable to stay there.

Very central, spacious and clean! The staff was also very friendly and helped me with everything I needed. The location is probably ideal for the city, it is very central but not right on the main streets.

Location, great host, clean

It's the perfect place to stay a few days in Ålesund. Directly in the city center and Rolf is a great person who welcomes warmly, gives recommendations for the place to visit, grocery etc, and is always here to answer when you need something.

The room was quite big and very spacious for two people. The bed was comfortable, and room heater was adequate. Even though the in-room kitchen is small, the common kitchen in the side room is spacious and it was stocked completely. When we arrive, host also came in person and gave a tour around the facilities in stay. Also he gave good tips to roam around the city. It was wonderful and most helpful chat to start the stay. The location is very good and walkable to all places. The supermarket is just opposite, but i would recommend Kiwi and Rema 1000, which are 500meters away. During winter to make the room cozier, we need to close both kitchen and bathroom doors, else the room will not get heated to adequate level.
