“Beatufiul masseria”

Beautiful masseria with beautifully designed rooms. We ate dinner at the masseria one night which was really great food, and the breakfast each morning was very good. We also walked around the farm into the woods and through the vegetable gardens. The hosts are great, and they have very cute kittens.

A wonderful stay in a beautiful setting that truly felt like home. Comfortable and peaceful bedrooms surrounded by a vast and beautiful garden. We also enjoyed delicious traditional home cooking. Eliana, Mario, their daughter Maria, and delightful Luciana welcomed us like family. One of the highlights of our trip to Puglia!

The Masseria is beautiful, in a location that provides easy access to the Salento coastline and nearby Alessano. The breakfasts were yummy, we also ate at the restaurant both nights. The rooms while simplistic, are tasteful, spacious and clean.

Amazing out-of-town experience in nature and a beautifully renovated historic farm. Maria was an exceptional host. Room was spacious with a lovely garden. Great to lay by the pool. Breakfast was very generous and plenty to choose from, dinner wasn’t our favourite.

The property is beautiful. It is very quiet and peaceful. The rooms are so comfortable and the get cleaned daily which feels like a luxury. We ate dinner there for 3 nights (be sure to ask what the specials are) and it was some of the best food we ate in Puglia. The pool is perfect and we loved having an aperitif in the courtyard before dinner. Maria is the most wonderful and kind host. All of the staff were so attentive and happy to help. We will absolutely be back!

“A relaxing, peaceful retreat”

It was such a peaceful, relaxing place; our bedroom was beautifully designed and it was nice to have a little sitting area outside. Dinners were excellent, it was nice to taste some typical home dishes. We enjoyed have an aperitif and breakfast in the flower-filled courtyard.

Wow! What a beautiful place. I was so happy to come here and sad to leave. Such a beautiful and elegant Masseria, it is simple yet so classy and charming. There was clearly a lot of thought put into the style and design of the rooms, the dinning room and garden. The room was clean, inviting and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was very nice and so was the restaurant, that served the best pasta dish we had in Poglia so far. The owners are friendly and helpful. Hope to come back and would definitely recommend.

“A lovely tranquil place.”

It’s very beautiful and tranquil. The masseria has 2 courtyards and you can eat inside or outside. The food was home cooked and delicious with 3 choices for each course. The staff are delightful. There is a nice swimming pool.

Lovely and peaceful place to stay, beautiful old farm buildings, nice big room, comfy bed and good air conditioning. It had everything we needed. Maria and her partner are very kind hosts with great advice on visiting the area. We loved having dinner in the Masseria. It’s also a great location for exploring both Adriatic and Ionian coastlines, as well as pretty local towns.

Lovely Masseria close to a small town and a good position to explore the southern tip of Puglia. Excellent food and helpful owners and staff with some good local recommendations. Nice pool to relax by after sightseeing.

A wonderful establishment in a building from the 15th century. Clean, peaceful and relaxing. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant offers the best varieties of local producers.

A wonderful place. Tasteful decor and furnishings in thoughtfully renovated old farm buildings. Beautiful pool area amidst olive trees. Tranquil and restful. Great food and wine. Really helpful host Maria. Wished we'd stayed longer. If we come to the Salento again we will definitely stay here.

The pictures online do not do justice to how beautiful this masseria is. The building itself has been very well maintained keeping true to the old stones yet with all modern amenities. The rooms have lavender bushes outside the entrance, the beds are very comfortable and they even provided a super thick mattress for the baby cot. Breakfast is a delight - a spread of homemade jams, fruits from the farm, locally sourced yoghurt and cheese, freshly baked tarts and pastries and eggs to order. A huge bonus is they also serve dinner and every night we had an incredible meal - the pasta was better here than any of the restaurants we visited in puglia. The food was the highlight of our stay - 3 courses that you can choose from - a plethora of antipasti, true local pasta specialties like the lightest fluffiest gnocchi and gorgeous slow roasted tomatoes full of flavour and different regional dishes like fava beans and meat dishes. There's also a lovely pool and the masseria is close to beaches on both coasts. After days of busy touring all the towns of Puglia, this is the perfect place to come to relax and feed your soul. The owner, Maria, her parents and all the staff have made such warm and welcoming atmosphere and BioMasseria Santa Lucia is a gem of a place full of charm and beauty. I highly recommend staying here.

the property was a little dream! the room was super cozy and clean, the whole property and the pool were amazing and Luciana with Baldo (dog) and sweet Charly (cat) super lovely. we extended our stay there as we enjoyed it a lot. we highly recommend it and would come back anytime! thanks so much Luciana and all the best for you, your husband and the lovely animals!
