Overview
In stunning parkland, close to York, Aldwark Manor Estate is a Victorian manor house that mixes traditional style with modern bedrooms featuring free WiFi. Aldwark Manor is the ideal place to relax after sightseeing in York, Harrogate and the surrounding areas. The lounges have a terrace patio overlooking the gardens and golf course, ideal for a pre-dinner drink. Each room at the property features tea/coffee making facilities, a room service menu and a seating area. The bathrooms feature a walk in shower, and a hairdryer. Our brand new golf course is now open too, having undergone an exciting new refurbishment! Our spa and leisure facilities are now closed and undergoing redevelopment. Our new luxury spa opening in 2026. Featuring a mezzanine indoor/outdoor infinity pool; outdoor relaxation spaces, state of the art treatment rooms, themed relaxation rooms with a thermal suite including Finnish sauna, bio sauna, tepidarium, salt steam room, experience showers.

“Exceptional. The master suite was excellent, so well decorated and incredibly tasteful.”
The room was magnificent - the decor, bedroom and bathroom were all suitably minimalist and tasteful. Dinner was exquisite. Breakfast was superb - an ample portion and a great way to end the one night stay. All of these aspects made this stay exceptionally special, and as such, we would like to return again.

Beautiful Manor in glorious grounds with a choice of dining. Bed comfortable and room spacious. Breakfast was great and we made use of the Spa which is lovely.

The hotel was excellent and in a lovely quiet location but easily accessible. The breakfasts were good and we could not fault the staff who were professional and friendly.

“A lovely relaxing break in gorgeous surroundings. Very peaceful and chilled.”
My room was just right for single occupancy. I was not in the main part of the hotel, I was in the Bunkers. Breakfast was excellent. Lots of choice and a lovely view. Debbie the waitress was brilliant. We ate in the Squadron bar. The staff were brilliant and the food as OK.
