“Pays Basque”
A big thank you to Pauline and Frederico for making me feel at home from home. Their place is tranquil and calm, I slept like a baby for 3 nights with the constant sound of water cleansing my mind. I did 3 days of Col hopping on my 🏍 the Pays Basque is stunning.

“a little idyll”
Very charming place, lovely host. It feels like a home with rooms more than a hotel. Great food too - fresh, local produce. And they have a lovely stream at the back for cooling feet and legs after a day's walking. I wish we had stayed 2 nights. This would be a fabulous place to take a rest day if you are walking.

“a slice of luxury while walking the HRP”
I loved the location, the warm welcome, the gentleness and warmth of Pauline and Federico, how they went beyond expectations and even hopes in every response to a request breakfast was healthy and plentiful room was large and bed comfortable artwork by Federico inspiring
