Every care was taken to make us feel very welcome with a very well stocked pantry, and treats everywhere. Very, very homely and a beautiful fire place.

Everything! the cottage was gorgeous, the little private garden was beautiful, with massive gums to stare at, and it was filled with edible goodies, even bacon and eggs in the fridge, croissants and pancakes in the freezer to heat up and 3 types of milk for you tea and coffee, and lots of cheeky snacks to eat. The toiletries supplied were also incredible!

This was one of my favourite places I’ve ever stayed during my travels. The house is cosy, private, and thoughtfully set up. What truly blew me away, though, was the generosity of the hosts. I’ve never stayed anywhere with so many snacks, drinks, and thoughtful little touches. The handwritten Easter card was such a beautiful and personal gesture , it really made our stay feel special. We felt like we were visiting a loved one who had gone out of their way to make sure we had a great time. The location is also fantastic very convenient if you’re visiting McLaren Vale or heading to the beach, with restaurants within walking distance, yet still in a quiet area. I couldn’t recommend this place more highly.

Next level hospitality. The guest house is so well set up and has everything you need for a fantastic stay. My only regret is that we only booked one night.

Attention to detail and provided many generous goodies for a nice relaxing time. Extra consideration given to children and the host was a very friendly couple who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was amazing. The cottage itself is very comfortable and has plenty of space, even for a toddler.

The property was a stand out with all the little special touches and goodies they provided, from chocolates on the bed to a lovely selection of items for consumption in the fridge and more. Baked goods, fresh bread and fruit. Lovely deep bath with bath bombs supplied, I could go on. The location was perfect, a stones throw from the restaurant we had booked. Gorgeous little fire too.

It felt very homely, extremely clean and Kate and John go above and beyond to supply and ensure we had everything and then some. We loved the yummy muffins and freshly baked biscuits

Not a bad word or thought about my stay. Kate and John were fantastic and I have to be honest it’s probably the nicest place I’ve stayed at in a long time. I was VERY thankful for all the food especially the prepared food in the freezer! I didn’t need to pop down the shops for anything. Thank you both so much for all the conveniences! :)

The cottage exceeded our expectations as the host had arranged home baked sweets on arrival and provided a plethora of snacks and meal options. We had a tasty afternoon-tea slice of banana bread and enjoyed her delicious brownie for dessert. The following morning we made a home cooked breakfast from the ingredients she carefully selected. The cottage was exceptionally clean, cozy and inviting. We loved it!

We stayed one night. Lovely hosts, cute and homey cottage. Liked the attention to detail. The 'extras' such as bread, milk, breakfast options and other treats really made it an easy short getaway. The hosts were very accommodating of our young son also.

Kate and John were such kind hosts. They provided us with everything you can think of. The cottage itself is wonderfull. We loved our stay very much🙂

Everything was exceptional. Above and beyond expectations. The owners are wonderful. Relaxing, peaceful, comfortable. Best home-made banana muffins. Breakfast selections galore, so much to choose from and all very tasty.

It was like a home away from home. Everything you could think of was provided. Very comfortable bed, lovely outdoor garden area. Large and comfy lounge room with wood heater for cool evenings.

Maunder Cottage is perfectly located a short walk or drive to the township and minutes drive to the beaches, cafes, and restaurants.
