Bells cottage is located in a lovely tranquil village but only a short drive away from many popular sights and there are great walks on the doorstep. The property is very well equipped, it has anything you wish for and more such as a lovely scent, a warm welcome through a gift basket, great service as the hostess Deborah, is only a text away for anything you need.

Bells Cottage was like staying in a home away from home. The host went the extra mile on several aspects (the scones were amazing!) and the cottage was so well stocked with treats, fruits, and almost every kitchen utensil you can think of! The cottage is really quite beautiful, well equipped with quality products; the garden and interior is beautiful and kept to the highest standard. The host was super helpful and responsive and just made the whole stay really easy and stress free. By the end we regretted not staying for longer and will definitely be back soon!

It’s a beautiful cottage, with every detail thought about. The cottage has stunning features, and a lovely garden. There are great walks from the cottage, and it’s the perfect place to explore the Cotswolds. We went for our mini-moon and had a wonderful time! Highly highly recommend!

“Relaxing stay in a beautiful cottage”

It was very clean warm and cosy everything you needed was there at your fingertips very well equipped cosy bed the host was very informative before arrival there was milk, bread, butter jam and marmalade and the most gorgeous scones waiting for us but my favourite part was the fireplace…very homely… Bourton-on-the-Water is only a 30 minute drive away which is a beautiful place to visit also went to hobnails pub and Teddington unfortunately the local one was closed the whole time we were there after the Christmas period will definitely be booking again

Superb location for access to lots of the Cotswold villages. Lovely character property with a lovely garden. It was such a cosy place, lovely kitchen lounge and upstairs bedroom with four poster bed. Welcome pack with freshly baked scones! Everything that you would need was provided. Premium bedding and lovely fluffy white towels. If you are planning a trip to the Cotswolds i would highly recommend this cottage. It was perfect

The look of the cottage. Its a lovely old thatched .one. We were welcomed with freshly baked scones, butter, jam, and other snacks which were most welcome to weary travellers. We loved it.

Cannot recommend enough for a Cotswolds stay away for a couple. Set in a very quiet village with plenty of strolls through the countryside straight from the door. Property has everything you could ask for and need! The owner even left some home made scones for us to enjoy. Would recommend reading through the ‘50 walks in the Cotswolds’ book which is in the property to scope out nearby adventures

Attention to detail was fabulous. The owner mad3 sure we were happy and made every effort to ensure our comfort. The property was obviously well cared for and you could tell it was special to the owner. It was stunning.

A lovely setting for a quiet getaway. Superb old cottage but very well appointed, and has ample space inside. The light carpets are not totally dog friendly, but with care you can get around that. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and we can definitely recommend it.

Beautiful thatched cottage in very quiet location, yet within easy walking distance of a superb, friendly pub that does good food all day (including breakfast). Cottage very well stocked with all essentials, and the welcome hamper was a lovely, thoughtful touch. Highly recommended.

The cottage was truly exceptional: from the very generous hamper on arrival including freshly baked scones with clotted cream and jam and bubbly and all the thoughtful extras we weren't anticipating to our very attentive host, Deborah. Staying in a listed building was fantastic! Although it is an old cottage, it is extremely comfortable, very clean and well-equipped. The location is quiet and relaxing, and the position excellent to explore the Cotswolds. Always available and helpful, Debbie has been an added value.

The property is absolutely stunning, the cosiest vibe and every room is beautifully decorated. The cottage itself is timeless! Every amenity you could possibly need is already supplied for you. Location is breathtaking, Alderton is gorgeous, peaceful and has multiple walking/hiking routes to be able to really take in how gorgeous the location truly is. The residents of Alderton are so friendly and welcoming. The cottage is only 12 minutes away from the picturesque town of Tewkesbury and 24 minutes away from Cheltenham so it is perfectly situated.

This is such a lovely cottage in a small village! Like from a movie... it´s equipped with everything you could possibly need during your stay including bathrobes for a whole family (3 tiny ones as well). The garden is beautiful too. A very relaxing place - all you hear are sheep, a pheasant, chicken, bumblebees, birds and the churchbell every hour (quite silent). There are a few walking trails around the village. And living in the middle of the Cotswolds you get quite fast to every place you want to visit there by car. And your wonderful host Deborah gets you maps and advices for a lot of trips in the countryside. I loved everything there.
