Overview
Located within the Serra da Estrela Natural Park, Quinta Do Moinho overlooks the Mondego River. It offers apartments with free WiFi and a TV. Facilities include a private beach on the river and a natural pool. All guest apartments at the picturesque Quinta come equipped with a refrigerator. Most of the apartments are also air-conditioned and offer full kitchen facilities and an open fireplace. A buffet breakfast is served every morning in the dining area of the Quinta Do Moinho farmhouse. Many restaurants and cafés can be found within 2 km and the city of Guarda is just 12 km away. Guests can use bicycles for free and children can have fun at the playground. Quinta Do Moinho’s mill is still working, and functions as a small museum. Viçosa River Beach is less than 3 km away. Free on-site car parking is available.

“Beautiful and quiet place”
We only stayed one night, but wish we could have stayed more. Such a peaceful place with different areas to hang out. Our apartment had a balcony facing the stream. Very quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was good. The pets will come and welcome you.

“Peaceful spot along with river”
Swimming and watching fishes in the river in 10 seconds from my room. Rubbing and playing with sweet cats, dogs and so on. Beautiful bed fabrics and shower room in the room. Common kitchen is available for 24hrs.

“Look nowhere else - stay here!”
We arrived late and we could not find a restaurant open at that time - the owner decided to open the breakfast table for us so we could help ourselves...it was a Godsend. The lodging is beautiful as you can see from the photos....and the breakfast was abundant and fresh - top lodging!

Superb agro turismo in a stunning quiet location. Fell asleep to the sound of the river. Large ‘suit’ so value for money was excellent. Lovely breakfast.
