Fantastic location and our room had amazing views over the bridge! Beautiful sunny position too so we were able to sit on the little balcony and catch the sun! The bedroom was spacious and beds were very comfortable.

Great communication before arrival - immediate responses to my (non-urgent) questions online, despite the questions being late at night. Checking with them first, and as there was availability, we drove straight to the underground car park. Note: the entrance to it is on Calle l'Estrambrera, which needs to be accessed from Calle Balmes. The car park is easy to enter and the spaces are wide. We passed three parking spaces in the street before getting to the car park but prefer to pay 13€ per night (for 4 nights) to ensure our car isn't dinged/dented. Check-in & check-out was easy and quick, done by a delightful young lady. Our room was larger than I expected. The balcony view is stunning; something I wouldn't normally pay extra for but I can see why that was recommended. The sun is on it from the morning until quite late in the afternoon. I also expected it to be noisy being by the bridge but it was surprisingly not. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable, with the welcome addition of blackout curtains (although there were a few gaps as the curtains were hanging off a bit). The addition of the fridge was useful too. Our only recommendation is that a toilet brush be provided. As others have mentioned the hotel and our room is very dated and things are not perfectly painted or maintained. The gym & jacuzzi might as well be non-existent (but we expected that based on other reviews). However, everything, for us, functioned (albeit our balcony door needed a certain knack to shut it properly). It would cost a fortune to modernise the hotel. Although I love a contemporary/modern style hotel, I would much prefer to pay the price at the Reconquista in its current state than a substantially higher price for a refurbed version. The key thing is its location and the underground parking. For the price paid it is excellent.

We had a lovely view across the bridge across to the mountains.

We picked a room with a balcony which had fantastic views, it was clean, tidy and spacious, the bathroom was large with a separate toilet. The location is perfect for exploring Alcoy. Our buffet breakfast was decent and we should have had the evening meal in the hotel but didn`t, next time I will.

Location was perfect. Room was clean. Mini fridge, albeit the integrated door was broken. Hotel parking was good & easy to access.

The size of the room was fine. The view from the balcony was brilliant. The location of the hotel is good for walking to the centre, old town area and shopping centre.The hotel was not expensive, so I suppose you get what you pay for. Alcoy is a great place to visit.

A superb stay in this gem of a hotel. Room with balcony, table and chairs overlooking Bridge and town. Stunning. Room fantastic. Was on bicycle and receptionist provided secure and locked room for bicycle. Breakfast buffet great value and very wide selection of foods. The staff are very good and a particluar mention to the very efficient kind and friendly receptionist. Highly recommended. Top marks.
