Hostal Fronton is located in Alcobendas, 15 minutes from downtown Madrid and 7 km from Barajas Airport. The guesthouse offers free Wi-Fi and spacious, bright rooms with private bathroom. This was our second stay in this hotel, this time in the old part of the building, and we liked it more. The room was bigger, there was a bath in the bathroom, and a big kettle. There were warm duvets in duvet covers (a rare thing in Spain!) and 2 extra blankets in the wardrobe. Very clean! Breakfast has become nicer this year (jamon, tortilla, bakery, 3 variants of bread, yoghurts, muesli, jams, ham, manchego, regular chese, fruits, tomato for pan con tomate, fresh orange juice and good coffee).

“Great value for money near the airport.”
Excellent option close to the airport or if you are looking for an economic place to stay. From the hostal to the center of Madrid is around 1hour by metro. We stayed just one night, went to center and the gentleman on the reception allowed us to check out a little bit late. I would definitely go back.

Great value for the money The staff is really great The location excellent. Close to the airport by public transport and easy to get to madrid by metro. Good breakfast. Nice town with all whats needed close by.

Very helpful staff, comfortable room, great breakfast. Located quite far from the historical center but perfect for someone on a business trip to the University.

“Fabulous”
The breakfast was excellent, especially for vegetarians, with a good variety of options to satisfy your morning appetite. The rooms were clean and spacious, though they lacked proper wardrobes.

“Charming Hotel”
I loved the decore and the size of the room 😍. It took me a while to get the heat right as it was rainy and cold Nov. 11. Everything was new and in immaculate condition including the warming towel racks. SUPER CLEAN everywhere. The two men I encountered were super friendly and more than willing to help a non-Spanish traveller. As I left at 6:50AM a kind gentleman reminded me breakfast was included. Too bad I just didn't have the time.
