Set in beautiful gardens, this 16th-century Tudor farmhouse offers charming en suite rooms, some with discounted rates. Stratford-upon-Avon is just 9.6 km away. In the heart of Shakespeare country, Kings Court Hotel has spacious bedrooms with free Wi-Fi. Some rooms have traditional oak beams and are situated in the original Tudor farmhouse. This family-run hotel offers superb service, and also has rooms in a new extension with a courtyard layout, a short walk from the main hotel. The charming restaurant offers an extensive à la carte menu, with dishes made using the finest local produce. The Twisted Boot has an excellent varied bar menu, as well as many ales and an extensive wine list. There is a roaring log fire and a tranquil courtyard area.

“Not as good as previous stays by a long way.”
We arrived just after check in time at 3pm. A room key was given. The room door was open and we were told not to enter but wth three heavy bags and some hanging clothes being carried to the end room on the first floor we weren’t about to just go back down the stairs fully laden. We hung the clothes and left he bags in the wardrobe and had to just kill half an hour which was a real pain. There was no water left in the room, which was provided on previous occasions and the room was far from fresh. Not the cleaners fault really who after the initial uncalled for shout was doing her best. The next day I went to drop the key in at around 9am, and was going to complain but there was no one on the desk so I just left it on the counter. I’d said I’d pay on departure but on arrival I was asked if I wanted to pay then and did so. Wish I’d waited!

Everything. Large spacious room with bath and shower. Room servicing was excellent. Staff very nice and very accommodating. We did not have breakfast there but we had our evening meals both evenings. We both enjoyed our meals very much. My daughter is vegeterian and lactose intolerant, but she was able to choose from the menu each night with no alterations required to her delicious meals. The situation of the hotel is excellant with easy access to different areas as well as the journeys to and from home, me to the north east of England, my daughter to Bristol. We will definately use this hotel again as we explore this area of the country.

“Great location for the Midlands Air Festival!”
All staff we interacted with (reception/bar) were all very friendly and helpful. Room was okay, bathroom looked very nice, an checkout process at the early hours was easy enough. Plenty of space in the bar for a drink and a game of pool/darts, nice atmosphere too.
