“Comfortable and friendly”
The staff were lovely and very thorough when checking in, good knowledge about the area. Their cooked breakfast and tea were amazing! The inn is in a quiet, beautiful area with lots of nooks and crannies to explore. The room was clean, compact and cosy with large opening windows for fresh air.

“Very cheap but very dirty , not as expected.”
Very dirty. Mould in the shower very dirty bathroom floor, stained everywhere. Toilet hadn’t been flushed when we collected the keys. The beds were really worn and the mattress hugely sunken , the carpet was very dirty.

Central location, parking on-site. A good menu selection throughout the day including breakfast. We enjoyed a delicious evening meal. Good atmosphere. Clean modern facilities and comfortable bed. Friendly warm welcome and excellent customer service. Great value for money. Very quiet when in bedroom.

Location and price were excellent. Great atmosphere in the bar area and quiet in the bedroom. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine for the price. Will definitely stay again when next in the area.

The room was a nice size. Very well presented and clean. Enough tea and coffee and more available at reception on request, Nice comfortable pub to have a pub style meal and comfortable seating. Pool table and darts as well as sport coverage on several TVs.

“A very pleasant surprise”
At first glance the hotel looked tired and not particularly inviting . The room was surprisingly large, clean and comfortable. The meals were all well prepared and presented and priced very competitively.
