Set inland of the Costa del Sol, this rural apartment complex is ideal for a peaceful break in the mountainous countryside of Andalusia. It takes its name from the historic castle next door. The Castillo de Zalia complex is made up of modern, whitewashed apartments nestled in the stunning scenery of the Sierra Tejeda mountains. The site is surrounded by national parks and numerous charming white villages which cling to the hillside – an authentic sight in this southern region of Spain. Take in the peaceful atmosphere and fresh air with a dip in the complex’s outdoor swimming pool. Each evening you can enjoy a meal in the barbecue area, surrounded by the attractive landscaped gardens. Enjoy views of the surrounding landscape and even the Mediterranean coast from your own private terrace. Inside each apartment you will find a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable living spaces.

The facility is great for families and well situated to explore loads of little villages around. The pool is great, kids loved it.

the apartment exteriors were not cleaned. the windows on the terrace couldn’t be closed. no one was there for checking and to welcoming. They don’t speak English.

The position of Castillo de Zalia Conjunto Rural is absolutely brilliant. The views are stunning and it is peaceful and tranquil. Very easy to get to from Malaga airport. The apartment was perfect, good size, great kitchen. The beds were very comfortable and the gardens are lovely. Swimming pool was great. Will definitely be going back.

We liked everything. Spacious and well equipped with a private terrace and garden with views. Beautiful area - good for day trips out. Lovely views from the castle ruins next to the property. Peaceful location.
