I was accepted by the hotel and received a confirmation email. However, the hotel was closed up when I arrived at 11pm. I rang the night bell several times. There was no answer. I did not stay and hope I was not charged

“A very good base for a stop-over”
We chose this hotel as a stop-off on our way to Zafra so did not really expect much. However, it's a lovely little hotel in an old building on a side street. There is plenty of free parking on the street and on all the surrounding streets as it's a very quiet little town. Check-in was very friendly with Estefani who also works at the family bar/restaurant across the road on the corner where we had a good breakfast the following morning. The restaurant unfortunately was not open on the evening we arrived (Sunday) but the menu looked good. We opted to eat at a restaurant down the road called Tik Tak (or Tiki Taki). They served excellent food. There are also a couple of other bar/cafeterias in the town. The room was small and basic but had a comfortable bed and pillows (despite being bolster pillows) and very good aircon, which really was a blessing! There was also a good bathroom/shower. The hotel was very peaceful and we would definitely stay there again if we were passing that way and needed a base for the night.

“Excellent. Great food too.”
Everything. The owner was very nice and the room certainly didn’t disappoint. I stayed for one night during the Camino Mozárabe. The owner also has a restaurant a few meters away. Superb food, service and atmosphere. I would definitely stay and eat there again.

“Walking Camino Mozárabe.”
Stayed one night whilst walking the Camino Mozárabe. Nicely kept and fairly new hotel. Comfortable quiet room with plentiful supply of hot water to shower. The establishment also has a cafe bar located around the corner in a different building.
