We had an amazing time here, and it was exactly what we were looking for — a place far away from everything, peaceful and secluded. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful, with vineyards, wild nature all around, and that special kind of atmosphere that really lets you relax and disconnect. The property itself is stunning, full of charm and character, with a very authentic feeling. A huge plus for Fabrizio, who was an excellent host — very communicative, helpful, and great to deal with in every way. The whole team there was also fantastic: friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. They made us feel comfortable and at home from the very beginning. The food deserves a special mention as well — delicious Sicilian meals with authentic flavors and amazing quality. We would definitely recommend trying the meals there because they are absolutely worth it. We highly recommend this place in every aspect. It was an unforgettable stay and one of those places you simply want to come back to.

The room was clean and quiet. The windows had mosquito nets. The hosts try to please and take care of your needs. The property itself is nice and has a lot of potential.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Agriturismo Tarantola, the best one during our one week roadtrip in Sicily. If you are looking for peace and quiet in the Sicilian countryside, this is it. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the dinner was amazing, couldn't have asked for more. We hope to be back someday :)

“Great place to return!”

Our 2 night accommodation exceeded our expectations. Fabrizio took great care of all communication and promptly answered every question via WhatsApp. The farm is located in a beautiful scenic area where no windmills are in sight, which we really appreciated. Fabrizio is not on-site all the time, but the other staff will take good care of you — just be prepared to use Google Translate if you don’t speak Italian. The wine tasting was so much fun, with interesting insights into the farm’s history — definitely take it if you can! The dinner offer was truly authentic and probably the best meal we had in Sicily. The menu changes every night, which was a lovely touch. If you’re traveling on rainy days, be aware that the roads leading to the farm can be a bit rough and tricky to drive through, but Fabrizio will help you handle that. We took some wines home with us, and once we’re back in Sicily, this is definitely a place we’ll return to. This is the rustic and authentic Sicily I highly recommend to anyone interested in Agriturismo.

Very nice staff and good food. We had a bit bad luck with the weather making the roads in the area a bit muddy. But all the staff was super friendly and helpful making all work out. Definitely a place to recommend.

Tarantola is very beautiful and perfect for some quiet evenings on Sicily. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The wine tasting was very fun and nice to get to know the vineyard and our host Fabrizio a little better. Francesco did an excellent job in the kitchen, both the dinner and breakfast were excellent!

“An amazing and authentic experience”

We did a lot of research to find our choice of an agriturismo stay for our time on Sicily and Tarantola stood out for us in wanting an authentic experience. It exceeded our expectations in every way. From the amazing food from Francesco, the friendly and accomodating service from Filippo and Beckia, and the support and responsiveness from our host Fabrizio. We stayed for 6 nights rather than many guests who choose just one night to experience the wonderful food and just carry on to Palermo. It can be used as a base for other places such as Trapani, Segesta, Castellammare de Golfo, Scopello and more. We did an amazing cooking class with Francesco. It is a beautiful and peaceful setting in the Sicilian countryside. We cannot recommend it more highly.

Perfect stopover spot before a flight from Palermo (less than 50 minutes drive). Set in the middle of vineyards, great wine tasting with a knowledgeable and friendly host, lovely dinner made with local produce.

The food prepared by Chef Francesco was nothing short of extraordinary – truly  the most delicious dishes we've ever had. Every bite was full of flavor and passion. A special thanks as well to Fabrizio for the warm welcome and smooth, friendly communication from the very start – we felt right at home. The entire staff was wonderful, especially Filippo and Petia, who made our experience even more enjoyable with their kindness and professionalism. We’re already looking forward to coming back. We had a truly wonderful experience at this agriturismo in Sicily. The location is peaceful and surrounded by beautiful nature — the perfect place to relax and unwind. Everything was impeccably clean and well-organized, which made our stay all the more enjoyable. The owner Fabrizio and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. A special mention goes to Chef Francesco — the food was simply outstanding. You can really tell he puts heart and skill into every dish. Dining here was one of the highlights of our stay. Petya was incredibly kind, always helpful and absolutely wonderful with the children - her warmth made us feel right at home. Filippo was also very friendly and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Our kids had the time of their lives playing outdoors and running freely in such a safe and open environment. It’s a place where families can truly relax while enjoying authentic Sicilian hospitality. We would definitely return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable stay in Sicily.

“Highly recommend”

Amazing place to stay to escape crounds. We stayed for one night, but I would recommend few nights. The house is surrounded by fealds and vineyards. There were just one other family and us, so it was very peaceful and quiet. We decided to have dinner there for 25€ extra per person. Best decision ever! The chef prepered fresh food only for us. We had 5 amazing appetizers and 1 main dish with a bottle of wine. You can’t choose what would you like to eat, so it’s a surprise based on what fresh ingredients are ripe in the garden.

Its location was spectacular - to be able to take a sunset stroll through the vineyards right on the doorstep was magical - such an oasis of calm within an hour of Alcamo. The host was fantastic and the chef’s dinners were out of this world!!

We had the most incredible stay—truly the highlight of our Sicily trip! The vineyard was absolutely stunning, especially during sunset walks—it felt like a dream come true. The staff and Fabrizio (the host) were so warm, caring and attentive. We enjoyed aperitivo and dinner on-site and it was hands down the best food and overall experience we had in Sicily. We only wish we’d stayed longer. Can’t recommend this place enough!

“Beautiful, authentic and most welcoming stay”

Where to begin.. The property is so so beautiful, situated within the whine fields. We had an amazing whine tasting with the owner, Fabrizio. He is so very friendly. Also, the food is excuisite. Fransesco made sure we had the best food experience we had during our whole vacation. So delicious. Thank you guys for giving a most welcoming experience!
