I stayed in Hotel La Battiggia with kids for 3 nights. Directly on top of beach and haa a swimming pool next to it, not crowded and easily accessible. Not one of those big and crowded/busy hotels. Restaurant is quite good and breakfast was nice. Great sunset view from balcony. The best thing is about personnel; receptionists, waiters and all employees are very friendly and super helpful, you can tell that they love their job.

Nice hotel, very nice to have breakfast overlooking the sea, direct access to swim in the sea which was shallow enough for my young daughter to stand. Sky tv etc was good.

Once parked and settled down you find here the beach hotel structure with direct access to the sea and pool, which is rare on the whole Northern coast of Sicily. Christian the valet was the only reasonably motivated encounter.

Everything was just the way we desired, hoped for and did not even find in 8 days on the island so far - not in other 4star -Hotels and not even in a so called "5-star" Hotel: Beach - clean and no extra charges for seats, umbrella e.g., Pool - superb view, Room - super-clean, comfortable bed, silent AC, many plugs, sufficient lighting to read a book, laundry service, WIFI even on the terrace and the beach. Room with wonderful terrace facing the sea. BREAKFAST: What an absolute delight: fried eggs any style to your liking at no extra charge, crispy bacon, fresh vegetables, natural yoghurt, fresh fruit --- JUST PERFECT !!. (Not just the pre-manufactured heated sweet croissants e.g. that we had to eat before) Great dinner, good international wine-list, friendly knowledgable service, great beach bar. Hate to say it: THE place to stay outside of Palermo right on a clean beach - for the price you pay- it is absolutely worth it !! So do not go, because we want to be back: We WANT to come back and spend a week on the beach in a crisp-clean hotel, close to airport and historic sites like Segesta and Palermo.

Right on the beach. Good breakfast and friendly staff. In a quieter part of Sicily so it was quite relaxing.

“Disappointing!”

The hotel is located right at the beach, which is fantastic. Restaurant food was good, though rather expensive. Summer fun at the beach may have lessened the disappointment, but on stormy days off-season, the poor condition of the room could be unbearable. It could probably pass at half the price.

Superbly situated directly on the beach. A modern, comfortable hotel. They gave us the poolside rooms with superb views across the bay. The open-air and glass-enclosed restaurant overlooks the beach and bay. We ordered some excellent seafood dishes, and the server recommended an excellent local white wine to go with them. My veal steak was generous but underdone. The chef sent out a new portion perfectly cooked.

The staff were friendly, the room with a balcony overlooking the sea was awesome, can't say enough about the food, breakfast, dinner, all was excellent!
