Hotel Apartamentos Don Juan I is located in the heart of the enchanting, Medieval city – home to the famous Spanish writer Miguel de Cervantes and now declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can return back from a day’s sightseeing wind down and relax in the pleasant bar that has an outdoor seating area. Discover the city’s ancient university, one of the first in the world and now Alcalá de Hernares’ most important landmark. Designed in typical Golden Age style, it was famous for being a centre of learning during the Renaissance. Visit the impressive Plaza Cervantes. The hotel has an excellent communication with the Madrid-Barajas International Airport, IFEMA and main accesses to the capital.

“Pleasant Stay in a beautiful town.”
Proximity to main town. Secure underground on site parking, well worth the 15 euros as car was full of personal belongings. Free stay for our 2 little dogs

“Perfect”
We loved it. So central to all the restaurants etc and perfect accommodation for us and our dog. Also secure parking. The young man who checked us in was so accommodating with us and our dog. He also gave us a map and recommended various places to eat. Fantastic stay

“uncomfortable and overpriced”
Overpriced for what it offers. Rude male staff. Poorly ventilated and very poorly insulated. Could not sleep as we could hear every sound from next room. Do not recommend it.
