“Loved our stay in the Pousada”
Fabulous location, lovely staff, brilliant buffet breakfast and great facilities. We also had an evening meal there which was extremely delicious and very reasonably priced. We would definitely return to stay in this wonderful historic building.

This hotel was amazing. I've never stayed in a Pousada before and it exceeded expectations. The hotel was very spacious and dispite the number of guests it felt like I was the only person in the building. There were several cosy seating areas. The dining room and breakfast rooms were large and the tables were well spaced. The food was very good. The reception staff were so friendly and helpful

“Special place to stay and very good value for money.”
Beautiful space, I wish we had been able to explore the castle/ museum more. The receptionist Carolina was incredibly lovely and our room was great. The bed was huge, such luxury, and we got a complimentary bottle of wine and some grapes and nuts. Oh and the breakfast was the best we’ve had in hotels in Portugal!

The hotel is very well located and very well maintained. It is like staying in a museum, which is “alive”. The breakfast was very good with a good choice. The staff was mainly friendly and forthcoming. The restaurant serves good and tasty dishes.

“2 days in Alcácer do Sal”
Fantastic location. Our room 216 overlooking river . Quiet , comfortable beds. Decent shower and WiFi This used to be a convent which had fallen into ruin before being restored by the state .
