Such a warm welcome from Maria on our arrival. We immediately felt at home. The vibe of the house is amazing..The views incredible.. Breakfast with the rest of the guests at a long table on the beautiful terrace was a marvellous way to start our day with new friends. We did not want to leave..

“Great stay close to Granada”

We liked absolutely everything! Amazing view, very clean, delicious breakfast and lovely hosts.They also have pets, a plus for our toddler and us, Beppo and Maurice were very friendly and gentle:) We booked the apartment so we had plenty of room, comes with a fully equipped kitchen. Also the terrace that has a nice view is large and you can have a drink or a snack admiring the view. The bed is comfy with a soft mattress- we didn't mind since ours at home is the same. Breakfast is freshly prepared every morning by Maria, we had everything that we wanted, good quality products. For the restaurants we went on their recommendations and we didn't regret it.

Great location with stunning view of the canyon at which it is located. It is high up, and a cool breeze makes it several degrees cooler than the surrounding area. Very nice and warm hosts with lots of attention to details of everything. Nice fresh breakfast served when you want. Nice small swimming pool at which guests takes turns to cool down with six sunbeds in the surrounding garden. The studio is well equipped with everything you need, including pepper and salt and some nice olive oil, and possibility for cooking

We very much enjoyed our stay. The room was very comfortable and the surroundings were most relaxing. Lovely to have a kettle with tea in the room. The swimming pool was gorgeous and the garden was beautiful.

The owners are wonderful and the food is also excellent. This is my second visit and I am already planning my third. If you like a rural holiday with peace and quiet, great views and direct access to lovely hikes and small villages then this is the place for you. We also met some great people during dinner.

The property and its location were amazing. Maria and Christian were superb hosts- so helpful and friendly but also totally professional. They cooked us dinner on the Saturday night and it was scrumptious. Very relaxing place that really made you relax.

the most beautiful experience I had on a trip is because of this wonderful place. The area is dreamy, the pictures only show a small part of the beauty. We were warmly welcomed by the owner and the animals. I would like to mention that I am allergic to dog and cat hair, but I had no problem with this. The cleanliness is taken to the level of art. The apartment I rented is very tastefully decorated - it has original paintings, upholstery and traditional decoration. The bathroom and kitchen are modern and full of more utensils than we have at home. We were able to cook and enjoy a delicious dinner both in the apartment (because there is a well-positioned table for this purpose) and outside on the terrace. The bed was spacious and comfortable, there are curtains that protect well. We stayed during a slightly cool period, but we had no problems, the heating systems are well set up and we had enough blankets (e.g. for sitting on the terrace in the evening). For my husband and I, the highlight of our stay were the mornings - breakfast prepared by Christian and the discussions with him. I hope we have the opportunity to return, because we don't think there is another location with anything like it.

A little piece of heaven. Maria and Christian litarelly do everything to make sure you have a good time. Everything is decorated with care. The view is breathtaking. If you want to spend your holiday in the mountains with beautiful hiking trails yet close to the coast and city I would really recommend this B&B. Thanks again Christian and Maria!

“Paradise El Pino”

Where do we start? It feels like words can't describe our beloved experience with Cortijo El Pino retreat, but we'll try anyway. From the moment we drove to the gate of the property, it all felt right. The beautiful terrace, the big pine tree, the spectacular views of the villages and mountains, it was just perfect. Pepa was really sweet and she even cooked dinner for us the first night, which was delightful together with a fine tasting gin & tonic and red wines during the different courses. The deluxe studio was large, complete with a kitchen and very nice bathroom. Breakfast was amazing, healthy, fresh and contributed to the perfect ambiance overlooking the hilltops and white villages. Morges the black cat was very sweet and made our stay even better 😄

A very peaceful 2-day getaway at this hidden gem - we enjoyed our stay to the fullest. If you’re looking for a place to stay that’s in touch with nature & tranquility with a family vibe, El Pino is definitely a place for you. Thanks to Pepa for her amazing hospitality and the delicious dinner she made for us two! Our hosts and location were wonderful. This is a very special place and I would not hesitate in recommending a stay here of 4 to 5 nights. There are great walking routes. The location is under an hour from Granada by car. Breakfast was great with locally sources products.
