Mercedes is a fantastic host. She began looking after us even before we arrived. What a lovely lady. She made us feel very welcome to this beautiful and clean home. Easy to find and the secure parking was great. We asked for dinner and we were treated to a delicious and very reasonably priced 3 course meal. The house and decor is amazing. The shared bathroom appears to be new. Great big shower with lots of hot water. Living areas are very tasteful. It has a grandness about it. The artwork is great. We shall go and visit the artist! Mercedes told us of many things to do.. she’s a great tour guide. The many kittens were an added bonus!

Great and welcome Host, very accommodating

Mercedes the lady of the house is very attentive and friendly giving advices. We stay in Andalucia but were just shortly exploring other corners so all tips valuable. Rustic house outside living centers was great stay as tranquility. Mercedes makes also breakfast buffet w toasts, ham, tomate milk&cerials, fresh fruit, coffee and tea 🤗 No rush and tight schedules here!

Lovely tranquil place if you are looking for a bit of peace away from busy life. The house is on a side of a hill, cliff, there are very few things around, like few neighbours houses, so you really need a car and there's a variety of nearby places to see, small towns, mountains, beaches, viewpoints to drive within few kilometres... The main road is a bit above so the sound is far in a background, and quiet at night too which is important for a good sleep. Owner is very attentive and caring, the atmosphere is homely, artistic, cultured. Clean, smells wonderful... Hamocks on a terrace with a sea view... Pleasant temperature indoors (in winter is cool but not cold, even without any heating (which is available if you want, I didn't use it). Beautiful tasteful interior, good bathroom with plesant hot water... Bidet (yes thank you!!!). Great place for few days of calm on your own, or stay with small group of friends, also think of gatherings for creative endeavours like writing, painting, recording videos, small hand made crafts etc... Highly recommend you check it out.

Very nice and unique atmosphere. The hotel owner made me feel as in my own home, offering to enjoy all the amenities available in hotel, including the wine :)

“Nice stay for one night and good breakfast”

My wife and I needed a room to stay for one night halfway for a trip driving from Alicante to Gibraltar. Our host was friendly and gave us a warm welcome and we appreciated some drinking water. We enjoyed having a continental breakfast outside on the patio and talking with the owner.

Beautiful authentic cortijo. The lady who runs it is so lovely and welcoming. She is really helpful and provides information on where to eat and visit and even wrote out directions for the coastal route to Malaga highlighting the most beautiful places to stop off. There are a lot of mozzys around in October and the lady provided my husband with a strong body spray and a room spray for the bedroom.

The host was very friendly and helpful. She showed us places to stay in the area and advised us where to go during our trip. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the house is very charming. The host made extra effort to wake up early and make us breakfast before our early departure. She also shared beach umbrellas with us. Shared bathroom is huge and it did not cause an inconvenience for us, since there are very few rooms in the house. Strong WiFi

The cortijo is run by a single owner who is very friendly and makes sure the guests have a great experience. The cortijo is divided into multiple rooms with each person/group reserving getting a room, while the bathroom is shared. Each day a small buffet breakfast is served prepared by the owner. The Internet service is generally very good and the setting is very peaceful with a lovely view towards the ocean, especially when viewed from the big shared balcony. This was truly excellent value for money and a welcome contrast from the typical tourist locations like Málaga and Benidorm. I would recommend staying here.
