Everything was absolutely wonderful! We truly enjoyed our stay. The view was breathtaking, and the location is perfect — just a short walk from the ocean. The hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed during our stay. The apartment had a great atmosphere, and everything was clean and comfortable. We would definitely love to come back again. Highly recommended!

The flat overall was excellent. In particular, its location was extremely convenient, and we especially loved the balcony with its amazing sea view and the soothing sound of the waves.

Excellent location, met at front door with keys shown round. Good easy communication with hosts. Apartment had everything for being self catering although we usually had dinner out. Appreciated the little things like bottle water/ fresh oranges/ rose wine + couple tabs for washing machine/dishwasher + tea/coffee ect. Very clean n tidy. 15-20min walk to old or new Albufeira or 5 min drive. Good beach - just setting up chairs with shade for season as we left end March. Can be windy and waves stronger than they look.

We really enjoyed our stay at Forte apartment. It is very clean, comfortable and very tastefully decorated. It has everything you need to make your stay like a home from home experience . The large bed and pillows are very comfortable. Fernando & Sara are very warm & welcoming people who care a lot for the residents. I contacted Fernando regarding a coffee machine that didn't work and Sara arrived immediately with a brand new one. Great customer service!!There was a fab welcome gift of wine, water, copious amounts of juicy oranges. Parking on site is a bonus and is very easy. The location is in a quiet area of Albufeira but only a short walk to either the "Strip" or the old town. There are a few bars & restaurants in the area. The sandy beach is only a 3 minute walk away and is fantastic. The view from the balcony is unbeatable and you can even hear the sounds of the ocean. There was nothing more pleasurable than sitting on the balcony of an evening watching the glorious sunset with a glass of Fernando's wine in hand. We will certainly return to this apartment when in Albufeira.

The apartment was really central between the strip and the old town. The apartment had an amazing balcony. The sunset and sea views were fabulous. The apartment is very well kitted out with everything you would require to have a lovely self catering holiday. The area was really quiet and the beach just a short stroll away. The cost was always at the end of the phone if you needed anything, although we didn’t. Some lovely welcome treats upon arrive which was really special!

“Fabulous apartment for two in a quiet part of Albufeira”

The apartment is well-positioned in the town, with a fabulous view out to sea and overlooking a ravine, the terrace feels very private. The apartment has everything needed- including a very well-equipped kitchenette- with large fridge/freezer, microwave, two-ring hob and even a compact dishwasher! Working surface is limited- but we just used the dining table for preparation! There are two coffee machines, kettle and toaster, as well as every utensil you could need. The bed is very comfortable and there is ample storage in the wardrobe (which is internally illuminated- an excellent idea!). The sofa is comfortable and also due to an electric shutter, half the terrace can be closed off and, even in winter, then used for dining outside at night. The TV has a multitude of satellite channels, with a good sound system and fast WiFi connection. The aircon worked exceptionally well as a heater during the cooler evenings of our visit. The bathroom has a toilet, bidet and bath with shower over: there is a separate wall-mounted fan heater and heated towel rail- which was useful during our stay during winter. The hosts (Sara and Fernando) kept good contact through the app and WhatsApp- and checked in remotely to ensure everything was ok during our stay. They also left us a wonderful bottle of Port, delicious fresh local oranges, lots of chocolates and they also subtly decorated the apartment for Christmas, all of which was a lovely touch. . We managed to cook well over a Christmas break- but surprisingly there were also a lot of restaurants open. We would not hesitate to come here again and are looking at booking again soon! Breakfast wasn't included but the kitchen was well equipped. We loved having a view from a nice balcony and being so close to the beach. A special thanks to Fernando who picked us up from the station and had to make 2 trips because he had a small car and we had large luggage. We advised him that the beach umbrella was broken so he drove into Faro (about an hour away) to buy us a new one. He was always available if we had any questions. It was also great to have restaurants and bars within the complex, even a couple of small supermarkets. We absolutely loved our stay.

The location was two mins from the beach and a 15 min walk to the Old Town and the Strip. The apartment was tastefully decorated and had every convenience needed. Fernando shuttled us to and from the airport at Faro for a very competitive rate. He is a really nice man who provided full background to the area and the apartment
