We really liked the hotel — a panoramic view opens up literally from all sides. The hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming; they greeted us with tea — it felt very warm and homely. We stayed in a family two-room suite. The view from the balcony and even directly from the bed is simply unreal — the mountains are right in front of you. In every detail of the hotel, you can feel the soul and heart that the hosts have put into it. You want to look at everything around you — everything is so thoughtfully designed and atmospheric. A separate pleasant bonus is the sauna. We were provided with towels and slippers — a small detail, but so nice! Everything is organized down to the smallest details. We went skiing in Leukerbad — the drive takes about 10 minutes. There is also a bus stop nearby, which is very convenient. In the village itself, it’s lovely to go for a walk — it’s truly a fairytale place with authentic houses. It feels as if you’ve traveled 200 years back in time. We will definitely come back again.

We loved our stay at La Demeure des Elfes! Viviane and Stephane were wonderful host! We had dinner there, fondue was great, and atmosphere simply perfect! There is a cozy living room with fire and board games that we just loved it! Breakfast was also fantastic, with many homemade products (jam, yogurt, etc). We will definitely come back!

Albinen is a beautiful village with amazing view on the mountains. Friendly and helpful hosts. Delicious dinner. Cosy and comfortable rooms. We just felt like home.

A gem of a place. The hosts are extremely welcoming, the rooms are lovely and the breakfast is outstanding and plentiful, with local produce and home-made jams. Great location in the centre of an incredibly pretty and unspoiled village. Perfect starting spot for nice hikes.

La Demeure des Elfes is a wonderful place to stay. We traveled a lot, but never encountered such a friendliness, hospitality, warmth and generosity. Viviane and Stéphane are the perfect hosts, they make you feel perfectly at home, creating space and pricacy for all of their guests. Exquisite breakfast and dinner too!

“Wonderful.”
Located in a quiet, beautiful village with a good shuttle bus service. Lovely mountain view from our balcony. Spotlessly clean rooms, Viviane and Stephane couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was outstanding; the best we’ve had on holiday. We recommend it highly.
