The room was filthy. I mean - the dirtiest room I've ever experienced. The carpet was smelly and full of marks and dirt. The room smelled so bad that I could not sleep. It was s Superior room. Nothing that would even closely feel like superior. There was nothing 50's about the room, more like hideous 90's curtains and furniture and the 30 year old smell of tobacco. The only clothes rail was skewed. The hotel room was so awful it was a joke. The outside of the room was missing furniture and the view was of a dumpster looking container yard. There were some nice looking rooms in the motel yard with beautiful wallpaper, but our room was in an old and smelly extension building at the back of the yard with an increased price. We asked to change rooms but were lied to that no one else was leaving the next day and that they were staying two nights, so change cannot be done. The next day many people left the hotel and we were just lied to to our faces. Unfortunately I cannot recommend, although Sally's restaurant was good.

Very good restaurant. Breakfast was decent. Buffet style. Friendly staff. The motel theme with amercan style 50's look is cute and interesting. Only 30 minutes to get to the center of Copenhagen. The price of the room is acceptable for what you get in return.

We stayed with a group of 7 friends, the place is not bad for a hostel, we lived in a triple room, everything was fine. My friends lived in

Classic fifties style American motel with an adjacent American style diner restaurant with absolutely amazing burgers. The motel is basic but that's precisely the point of a motel.

breakfast was very nice and plentiful, many types of food all well cooked in a self service buffet style, all unlimited so you wont go hungry, plenty of seating and very clean, i will be happy to return anytime.

Not the first time we stay at Wittrup Motel. We love the place. The authentic American Motel atmosphere is unique. It is not a 5 star hotel, but it is cozy and the set-up is fantastic for a Motel. No doubt we will come back. The restaurant "Sallies" is fantastic. Great food.
