exelent staff and owners, amazing meals, if you are into fishing i cought 80 od carp and 11 good tilapia , there is exelent bass and some yellows also. bird life abundant, good walks and m.biking.

This is a great location for a get away. We stayed in the apartment and this was a beautiful location. We enjoyed sitting on the large terras with the view of the river. The property is a mix traditional and new. The building is an older farm house with all the charm of history, yet it has been modernised. We ordered meals with the dinners in the main house, where you get the chance to meet the hosts, the breakfasts are served in the apartment. The hosts are really friendly and we enjoyed getting to speak with we really enjoyed our time here, it is a peaceful location.

Everything it was very comfortable nice Chris and Ryna and Welsh were fantastic. The cooking of Ryna was delicious, the help of Welsh wunderful and the entertainment of the farmer Chris was super! And the 🦒 tip was briljant.

What a wonderfol place to stay! This accomodation realy suprised us when being far above our expectations. Location some 15 km in the wilderness is an adventure on its own and the guest house that we were in offered much more space than a couple needed. Sadly the weather wasn´t that good, so that we couldn´t take advantage of the private pool. Breakfast served on our own terrace with view on the river was a perfect start into the day, especially as it was made from fresh products like self made bread and fresh eggs. Highlights were the three dinners we had. Not only that the table was decorated in such a romantic way. Also the food (steak, lamb, chicken) was absolutely delicious. It truely was the best of our whole trip. And last but not least the farmer and his wife and their assistent (Wels?) are such good hosts. We spend long evenings talking to them while having a glas off wine. This was more like visiting family than being customer - absolutely lovely.

The location at the river is amazing. You can swim and the kids can play in the river. It was great that we could explore the animals of the farm as well. Our kids really loved it. The dinner was also really nice. The apartment was really big but a bit run down. Be prepared for lots of mosquitoes

Great location and stunning views! It has such a cute ‘cabin’ feel and what a great bathroom.

The property was what we expected, but the hospitality was more than we expected. The farm is pretty remote, but also accessible by car. It was peaceful and relaxing and just what we needed for a few hours of rest on our journey along the Garden Route. Lying by the pool looking at the view, was bliss. But what really made the stay was the hosts. If you stay, please do have dinner on the farm. Ryna cooked up an absolute feast, the setting was beautiful and we loved our conversations with her, her husband and son (and pets) (all optional - they will leave you be if you’d prefer). Such a personal experience that you wouldn’t get anywhere else. We hope to see them all again.

We stayed in the glamping spot which was super lovely. The kitchen was well equipped, electrics worked well, even a hot shower! An easy walk to the river and some dreamy swimming g surrounded by goats and cows, which our little one loved. The food for breakfast and dinners was unreal!

It was the Most amazing Place we have ever been to. The Location was outstanding. The Host Both of them are so Friendly, helpful and so lovely. We really felt Like Home so far away from Home. We can everybody Recommend when in this Area to stay at the Farm to Explore by yourself.

A lovely family farm hosted by a hard working family. Loved the farm, the animals, river and the views.

We had a wonderful stay at this location. The owners were lovely - we really enjoyed the chats and stories. Highly recommend having a home-cooked meal when you stay it was delicious and so much attention to detail. We will definitely spend more time next time! Highly recommended also for families with small kids.

Oom Koos was an amazing host. He ensured that we were completely comfortable. It was a nostalgic experience for us. Kids enjoyed the animals.
