“Amazing stay”
We stayed at the luxury family chalet and it was a great option. The room is very comfortable, clean and has a lovely small balcony to stargaze at night or enjoy a coffee during the day. The game drives were really nice, kids and adults enjoyed. The separated pools for adults and kids are very convenient. The food at the restaurant is very good. The staff is amazing, always smiling and accommodating.

Professionalism and warm welcome from the staff from the start until the end off our stay at the Garden Route Game Lodge was excellent. The game drives, game ranger knowledge, spa treatment & general hospitality was amazing overall.

Wow , the whole experience was amazing from the moment you enter the first gate you are looked after . The welcome drinks and fabulously attentive staff were brilliant and it just continued to impress ! The lunch was gorgeous and then you are shown to your room , we had a gorgeous chalet with amazing views across the plains . The bed was very comfy , fab shower with a view , balcony terrace to enjoy the outside space . Swimming pool and jacuzzi then the first safari , it was incredible the guides are so knowledgeable and the animals were brilliant, even given a drink of your choice to watch the sunset , given marshmallows to toast on a big fire . Then back to the lodge for dinner which again was very high standard and beautifully served , very peaceful sleep then second early morning safari with same guide who was just fab , given hot water bottles and blankets and taken to see animals which were missed on previous day . Then breakfast which again was excellent, then assisted back to own vehicle to very sadly depart

“A wonderful time. Wish we'd stayed longer.”
Food was excellent; the service was efficient and always delivered with a smile. Room was lovely, spacious and very comfortable with a four-poster bed and mosquito net. The infinity pool was just the right temperature and little birds came down to perch on the sides -wonderful. Safari tours were exceptionally well managed and the guides were very keen to give us the best views of the animals possible. The information they gave us was interesting and entertaining. The evening bonfire, watching the sunset, was an unforgettably beautiful experience.
