I arrived delayed. Hotel closed for check in.. Had to look for another Hotel and lost my prepaid amount. Maybe they should show reception hours on BOOKING.COM when you book your Hotel Room....

Enrique's B&B is an authentic and charming rural casa. He and his son were welcoming and very hospitable. We enjoyed tasting the olive oil and dessert wine that they produce. Albaida is a lovely town with numerous bars and restaurants, a surprising variety for town of this size. Easy access to the A7 made it perfect for a brief stop

The hotel, the rooms, the decoration and the ambience are all very special. All the furniture, wall hangings etc have been tastefully chosen. We were particularly lucky to have been allotted the room with a terrace. If we hadn't been on our way to France, we probably would have stayed another day because we liked the room so much. Would definitely stay there again.

“Fantastico!”

We had a fantastic stay at the Casona. Enrique was a very gracious host, and he was there to meet us as we arrived quite late in the evening. He gave us the key and showed us our room, and we basically had the whole place to ourselves! The room was great, looked just like the pictures and we also had a big terrace. The house itself is amazing, filled with treasures and pieces of art, each one with it's own story to tell. The next day, Enrique brought us a bottle of wine, and we sat outside sharing some stories and enjoying the terrace. His partner was also there and was very pleasant to us. We will certainly stay again the next time we are in town (my wife is from the area) and would definitely recommend this stunning old country house to anyone staying in the area.

“Plenty of character.”

Rustic style with character. Olde worldly style building. Comfortable warm accomodation even without using the fitted heating . Internal patio was very traditional and atmospheric.

Great host. Didn´t mind that we arrived later than expected. Explained everything and even made an effort to come and say good-bye when we left.

The owner is a wonderful man, the room with the terrace is definitely the one to book. We felt like we were in heaven!

“Unpleasant hostile man in charge, very drab decor, not especially clean”

Do not book this room until you have read the low score reviews on booking.com. Every word is true! Nothing. Deeply unpleasant man in charge who at first refused to let us stay because the property would accept 'no bicicletas'. We were travelling through Spain by bicycle. Beautifully restored Casa rural. High sealings, old tiles. the owners do everything to make your stay pleasant.

Interesting old building carefully furnished and I loved the wooden shutters and added decor. Very comfortable bed and great shower. Fascinating town to explore on foot.
