“Very special historic building”
This is a very special property located inside the Star Fort of Alba Iulia and it was a privilege to stay here. But when a property is 5 star, expectations are raised and sadly, not everything matched the rating. Room was huge and beautifully decorated in keeping with the age/style of the building (if you want sleek and modern, go elsewhere) and the bathroom was very special. Breakfast was OK, nothing more. Free parking just outside. Staying at the hotel gives you free entry into the Museum next door, which is well worth visiting - shame we didn't know this before we paid to go in. There are some lovely interesting bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. Free bottle of wine in the room was a nice touch.
