“A magical setting for a stay.”
In a superb location with fantastic views over the lake or to the mountains. Very friendly staff, comfortable rooms. Great breakfast. The mirador 200m from the hotel had beautiful views.

“Perfect base to explore the "Montaña Palentina"”
The hotel is in perfect location as a base for the area, and the views are amazing. The staff is very friendly and helpful, rooms are simple but very nice. I had a great stay at the hotel.

“Lovely hotel, spectacular views”
It was well worth the slight detour to come here. The surrounding area is spectacular as are the views from the hotel. The staff were all really friendly. We informed them that we were vegetarian and it wasn’t a problem. They gave us several options for dinner (including vegan cheese, if we’d wanted it) - everything was delicious. We were amazed to find out that the nice bottle of red wine we had with our dinner was included. Would highly recommend.

The comfy beds, remote location, mountain/lake views and the cows that greeted us outside our hotel in the morning, clanging their bells. So adorable. A substantial breakfast of toast, fruit, yoghurt, cake and juice, tea/coffee. Great view point a short walk from the hotel carpark.

“A lovely Hotel in a stunning location with great ambience and nice staff.”
The Hotel is in a stunning location, it is quite isolated so those who like to wander around town would be disappointed. The Hotel is 200m from a breathtaking viewpoint and the views all round are fantastic. Staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a bar and a dining room. From other reviews we weren’t sure if the restaurant would be open but so we ate elsewhere beforehand. We could have eaten at the hotel. It would be worth asking by email. The ambience of the Hotel is great, it’s not fancy just well done down to earth comfort. Breakfast was generous ham, cheese, toast, buns, yoghurt, ad lib orange juice etc

“Beautiful quiet location”
This is a nice little country hotel in the national park a hundred miles from Santander. We stayed for two nights in April and it was very quiet (and cooked outside-it snowed) with very few people about. The room was basic but clean, warm and comfortable with lovely views of the beautiful mountains and countryside. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
