“Good, but with room for improvement”
The hotel is new and our room was clean and comfortable. The location is surely thrilling for somebody interested in soviet industrial relics. The renovations of another part of the building are ongoing and it will surely become a marvellous structure if the same standards will be applied.

“The perfect hotel experience”
The hotel was opened rather recently and is located in a fundamentally but tastefully renovated building. The surroundings with the mountains are stunningly beautiful. There are also several monasteries in the region, of which two are on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The staff were very nice, very friendly, very helpful, and very professional. The room was perfectly cleaned and adequately equipped, as well as adequate in size. The bed was comfortable, and the breakfast served was excellent.

Exceptional hotel in a historic location - we loved the contrasts and how the industrial past is brought together with an imagined future and Armenian modernity as well as the beautiful natural surroundings of Alawerdi reinventing itself. The hotel is a great example for it, with extremely friendly personell.
