“Great location, amazing host and the team, delicious food”

Absolutely stunning place. Thanks a lot to Sasun, his family and the team that runs that place. Everything was superb, especially the way they treat you, the food and the gorgeous views over canyon every chalet has. It felt like you were admitted to a very hospitable Armenian family for the duration of your stay with all the consequences like the most delicious food throughout our entire trip. Just be careful to not order too much as even one portion of main meal is typically enough for 2 people ))?

“Amazing hotel, very courteous staff”

We stayed during the off-season, which meant we were the only guests at the hotel. Regardless of that, we were welcomed with open arms and incredible hospitality by the manager. He was always there to help us with anything we needed and very courteous. Even though we stayed only one night our stay was amazing and unforgettable. The most unique quality of the hotel is definitely the view, it was amazing to wake up to.

The view from Kayanberd Resort is spectacular, as you can see Alaverdi from above and the Debed Canyon. Other than that, I suggest you to have a chat with Sasun, the owner, as he is a very kind and welcoming host. Kayan Fortress is accessible from the resort, a beautiful Armenian gem.

Location is amazing with great views. Lovely environment and great food. The owners do not speak much English, but Google translator and willingness help a lot. We enjoyed this place very much.

The location was perfect, with a magnificent view—sunsets and sunrises were truly superb. The on-site restaurant was amazing, offering delicious local cuisine that gave us a true taste of the region. The host was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful. They guided us through the best local travel spots, making it easy to explore and enjoy all the nearby sightseeing destinations. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended, and we’d definitely love to return!

“Amazing views”

This resort is a hidden gem! The views are breathtaking, and the location is peaceful and beautiful. The drive to the resort can be tricky, but the kind owner personally came to pick me up after I left my car in the nearby village. The owners are incredibly warm and welcoming. They go above and beyond to make sure guests feel comfortable and well cared for. The food is freshly made to order and absolutely delicious. A perfect place for a relaxing stay!

The staff was super super friendly. They don’t talk English but you will figure it out (with help of google translate). The location is breathtaking! We ate at the restaurant and the meal was delicious!

I couldn’t stop looking at the view And the family is the nicest! To get here: put your navigation to Akner village. Take the gravel road right from the church in that town. Follow the dirt road. You see a sign. Just keep driving towards paradise. The view, the room, the family, the food, the nature. EVERYTHING is nice! Please go!

The views - honestly, there is no where better in the area. The hosts were friendly and helpful, the food (breakfast and dinner) was delicious and the room was clean and well set up. Thank you Kayanberd resort for our wonderful stay!
