Overview
Located just outside of the city of Alamogordo, this hotel is only 2 miles from the Alameda Park Zoo and the Toy Train Museum. It serves a grab and go breakfast every morning. Free Wi-Fi access and cable TV are included in every room at Super 8 Alamogordo. They are equipped with a microwave and a refrigerator. A work desk is also included. Laundry facilities are available on site at the Alamogordo Super 8. The hotel’s front desk is staffed 24 hours a day and offers copy and fax services. Alamogordo-White Sands Regional Airport is 7.6 miles from the hotel. The New Mexico Museum of Space History is a 10-minute drive away.

We had a great stay at this hotel! It’s located central in Alamogordo, which was super convenient and absolutely beautiful. The staff were incredibly friendly and always happy to help with anything. Our room was really nice and comfortable, and the breakfast in the morning was definitely enough to start the day well. There’s also a parking area, which made everything a lot easier. The White Sands NP is amazing, and close to the hotel, but you need a car! The town itself is really lovely with lots of shops and places to explore. I also felt completely safe in the area. Overall, a fantastic stay — I’d definitely come back!

The hotel meets expectations as an affordable and decent spot to spend a night or two on a road trip, not more. The staff was helpful and polite. The hotel serves a classic breakfast, including eggs, sausages, hot waffles, toasts, fruits, etc - hearty enough to keep you going through the first half of the day.

“mucked around a bit”
well we didn't stay at the super 8 we stayed at their sister hotel the days inn cause your system over booked the hotel. The days inn was good. Staff at both hotels were great.

The best bed I´ve ever slept on! So big and comfortable! I just loved it! The room is not spacious but it is very comfortable. It is quiet enough. The hotel has a good location. Excelent to visit White Sands.
