“Nice place to stay, not too far from the airport to rest after a day of travel before a day driving”
Nice home like environment. Very nice outdoor space. The staff was very friendly and tried very much to be helpful. Breakfast was good.

“Great stay with wonderful hosts!”
Hosts were super friendly and gave us some great information. The girls loved the pool and puppies on the property. We had a water issue in our room and they quickly switched us and made things right.

“Lovely family owned lodge”
Uruka lodge is a very cute family owned place located close to San José. The room was somewhat comfortable and very clean. The owners were the most helpful people, they suggested restaurants for us and offered a shuttle service to the airport even if our flight was very early in the morning! The pool was clean and the place was calm and lovely. You will also meet the cutest two little dogs: Pickett and Bella 🥰 I totally recommend for a short stay around San José.

“Only one night, it felt like home!”
Sergio went over and beyond to help me. He picked me up at the airport, brought me to a store and arranged a local sim card for me, brought me to the bus station making sure I'd get on the right bus to Fortuna. The place is great, quietly placed outside San Jose, close to the airport. Room was clean, spacious and breakfast was delicious! Definitely recommend for those landing/departing to/from San Jose. Thanks a lot!

There was a beautiful pool. The owners were lovely and hospital. They let us use their kitchen and had breakfast in the morning. The location is lovely, especially if you’re on you way north. The pool is very nice.
